IOS is no doubt more optimized, User friendly and more Secure operating system but closed ecosystem.
Android is power and memory consuming and apps permission are a mess. Updates are nightmare unless Google or GPE editions. Lot of UI's and carrier crap but more freedom.
Used GS 1,2,4 Note 3, IPHONE 5
Now IPHONE 6 plus user.

Does this mean that Apple is charging more than premium a price for their mid range spec toys? That is the reason their Profits are so high.

74 milions iphones were sold the first quarter of 2015......thats news...i m one of the few that owns a windows phone (nokia 1520) nothing can question the dominance of apple in every aspect of mobile industry...nothing can slow down its sales..and we are talking about premium devices here.there is an army of android manufactures out there and no a single one can reach this level of success..i really dont get it...whats so great about iphone..its overpriced and still dominates whatever everyone else is doing to take a small piece of the market share

Oh this is not surprising. As much as people bash Samsung they knew this along. Apple uniqueness is what is pushing the brand. Samsung needs an OS for itself in order to fight.Because they are restricted by Google and are challenged by other manufacturers who makes cheaper Android phones. So if you do the maths Android combined outsells Apple. So the real winners here are Google and Apple. My advice to Samsung is to invest in Software research and development. Otherwise you cannot win the Smartphone crown. Push TIZEN at all cost. It's the only way to fight Apple and GooglEarth.

Totally fake it seems to me because as per given revenue per unit cost is 1000$ which can't be true as apple sold all models of I phones which can't average 1000$ per unit.

How can a company post Q1 of 20... moreIt says first quarter of fiscal year 2015. Fiscal year or financial year is different from calendar year.
If the 1st quarter of fiscal ends on dec 27, go back 3 months, and that is where the fiscal(financial) year of apple starts. Meaning their 2015 fiscal year starts at sept 28 2014 and ends on sept 27, 2015.
Most companies do not follow calendar year as their financial year.

Haters failed to realise their trolling does nothing.
Some trollers realise this, tried to twist their comments to purposely support Apple, as seen in the Apple comment pages and here.
