You are right. Just wait. Don't be the first guy on the block with a new Zenfone. Those are unscrupulous speculators, who want to make a killing. I never buy a new model, unless it has been on the marked for two or three months. For example, if I want Samsung Note 4, I will wait till the price came down to $600 and not a penny more. It started at $750. The carriers sell at $699.00. Samsung is offering at $650.00. As soon as the Galaxy 6 comes out, Note 4 wall be offered at around $600.00 in March, 2015. A little patience goes a long way.

I cannot see what all the panic is about - its not even available to buy yet !
Just because some greedy seller is trying to take advantage of all the hype surrounding this new phone by offering it at a much higher price than the official one announced at CES back in Jan does not mean this is the actual price !
STOP worrying and wait......
There is no way that ASUS would publicly announce a price and then change it completely 2 months later !!!!!
My advice is wait until the phone is actually officially launched and is available in licensed ASUS retail outlets and not get all stressed about some dodgy AliExpress seller that does not even have any phones to sell çcurrently and is just trying to make a fast buck and rob you Keep Smiling :-)

Can't believe that they will increase the price. I think BECAUSE OF THE PRICE, $200, people are curious and wanna buy Zenfone2.
It's bullshit. Don't make us think we can buy one for $200. This is a con, not marketing. DISAPPOINTED.

I have been eagerly waiting for Asus zenfone 2 since last 3 months with a hope that the 5.5 inch version with 16 GB Internal memory would not cost more than Rs.14000 in India. Earnestly request Asus to keep its promise or else prospective buyers will look for alternatives.
I have been searching on internet information of the said version of Asus Zenfone at least thrice a day since the last three months. And after much deliberation I had come to conclusion that this would be the mobile phone I had been frantically searching for, a budget mobile phone from a reputed brand with all high end features and a brilliant camera. Asus rather astonishingly promises to fulfill my wish or it may be a wish for lacs of such budget conscious customer.
PLEASE DON'T DISAPPOINT...

type asus zenfone 2 around thrice or four times a day because i was waiting for a mobile with full high end features and also it should be a branded mobile.
At last, asus satisfied my expectations with $200. But, now asus totally disappointed me by increasing the price of this 5.5" varient. Lets hope the price will be reduced while officially releasing in India.
