simple fact : iPhone will survive until (at least) teen girls are in (at least) USA
Microsoft will (at least ) be the only company to offer windows phone
Android will suffer from huge competition but (at least) xiaomi , lenovo and Motorola will survive with maximum market share.

wannabe cool people trying to get attention n approval from their "cool" co existors buy iPhone no matter what and Apple will continue to profit

people with a real need to integrate with their PC or just out of respect to Nokia buys windows phone

finally the three android companies will rule the market in numbers just for the reason they've started trendind now

So my dear friends get over whatever hatred you are throwing at each other for the sake of some company and look at other more important and beautiful parts of life.

Apple still isnt the company who try to take much marketshare as possible, they already get all the money so whats point to get pointless marketshare and losing money? WRONG.

Android OS actually takes less resources now than Gingerbread from just over 4 years ago. It's because they no longer use the Dvalic java runtime.

I still laugh when he made a post over a year ago about Apple allegedly dominating smartphone markets when the graphs he linked to actually showed that although Apple had a big bump in sales in the quarter their latest phone came out the graphic showed that ios continued to lose overall market share.

You know what they say, don't argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level.

Apple's marketing has been spot on from the first day the iPhone was launched. They highlighted the uniqueness of IOS and at that time the quality of their products was just superior to everything else.
It was, and still is, a must-have gadget for millions of people and they cleverly make use of the premium price people are prepared to pay.
After all, it's the bottom line that counts and they are the absolute champions in profit making.
All Android manufacturers are just no match and never will be. Too many options (brands and models)and now that Samsung's profitability is going down fast the boys in Cupertino are laughing all the way to the bank.

This news really tell sad story for android OEMs. In android world you cant stand out anyway and end of the day chinese people offer same what you with half of the price, thats why all the big android names are in trouble, because only way to try to survive is lower the price of your devices.

Android was easy way to top for companies, but its also easy way to down like we have seen last year and going to see this year too.

Apple has iOS ecosystem to stand out and thats why they are in number one place and doesnt have that same competition and results are like this, Apple doing all the money and getting bigger and bigger.

Unfortunately for Android manufacturers, they are mainly all the same, so at this point, with no differentiating, they must compete in price. At least, some 20-30% of high end smartphone sales go to android.

I cant understand why you people discuss. All of us know Apple is profetting dramatically (as this news title says) by using very cheap components such as 5$ dual core CPU but selling their phones at the highest price that is possible
