At this moment, enormous number of scientists, Professors and PhD students at computer science as well as electrical engineering departments of more than 500 recognized universities in the world are working on multicore microprocessors that known as MPSOC. Meanwhile, many students are working on coding efficiency for such multicore structure. They are important branches of engineering as they are so close to my area of speciazilation. Therefore please don't bother professionals by such nonacademic words

Well yea they do. a5 chipset, 512 mb of ram and Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9. Thats pretty crap and it sold over 60 milion units! it was mediocre for the time but people still buy it for the same price as the moto g because it is APPLE.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
And still outperform every android phone in the market, those android devices have to be very badly optimized.
By the way, amount of cores doesnt mean speedier device, over two cores are mostly useless. What really counts is those seperate cores and how they perform and iPhone single cores perform better than android, thats why iPhone is faster.

I just switched back to the iPhone 6+ after 3 years using various Android flagships as my daily drivers. I still use Android at times.
But the iPhone 6 is the best phone on the market, in my experience. It has just the right features, it has the best camera overall and it has a working FPS, which is important in places where mobile payments are common.
It is also one of the best designed and built phones out there currently.
Yes, it costs about $100 to $200 more than many Android flagships, but for many of us the price it's worth. If not for you, fine. But stop telling the rest of us that because YOU don't get it, we don't know what we are doing....

No other manufacturers besides Apple ... moreAlso for the Android nerds techie-wannabe, there is a plenty of Manufacturers (Samsung, Sony, LG, Motorola, etc) to take the money from you in order to sell the latest phone, that you never will use the 100% of the power of the phone but just want it because is cool to have it. At the end of the day people like that will end using the phone in Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, Youtube and some games (the ones that first will be released on iPhone first and then for Android).
Android users are so crazy that every time Google releases a new version of Android manufacturers make a big money $$$ making every time a more bloated phone with a tons of gigs, speed, cores and so on in order to make Android OS run happy, if iPhone users are i Sheep where fit Android users? following unnecessary hardware specs in order to make Google happy running their OS on the new phones......sincerely from my point of view, Android users has been brainwashed in order to get the "latest technology" just for run and under-powered piracy loving OS. XD
The only benefit for Android users is side-downloading piracy software, download torrents (full of piracy) and some cheap mods....

The answer is simple. No other manufacturers besides Apple have managed to create a huge reality distortion field. Are Apples good phones? Sure. Are they as good as Android phones? In most cases, yes.
The real difference is that for some reason Apple has a lot of people convinced that they NEED an iPhone to be "cool" and "hip". Every time Apple releases a new phone millions of hipster wannabes line up to get one, practically jizzing all over themselves to get a new magical iPhone. It boggles the mind, but people will repeatedly pay enormous margins for the "privilege" of having an iPhone.
tl;dr: People are not rational. Apple is reaping the benefits.

You have to be out of your mind, iPhone sales would go so high that Apple couldnt build them fast enough to meet the demand, well they have already problems with that :)
