Asus has been very impressive in its low price and best quality strategy...and had been a great hit in every market...but it should maintain same plan for its future mobiles or gadgets so that the brand name ASUS will be heard all over.I hope the price for 5 inch variant($200) would be really a sweet spot and 5.5 inch variant ($270/$320) will be competi

The Zenfone 2 is not even out yet and you're making assumptions. The Zenfone 2 5.5" 1080p 1.8 2GB variant will cost $200 not $300. The Oneplus is somewhat better, not that much better, and it's at least $100 more and you have to get an invite to boot!

I see Android Lollipop and Dalvik? Isn't Lollipop running ART only? Weird.
About the bench i think Asus is thinking well.
720p is enough resolution for a phone (even a 5 inch one) and that makes it way faster (and probably more energy efficient) than useless 2k screens.
1080p is perfect but 720p is not bad.
I've put my 1080p Galaxy S4 side by side to a LG G3 (2k) in several different usages (picture viewing, video, and web browsing) and i couldn't see the difference in terms of definition. I see perfectly and i couldn't find a single pixel difference. So 2k is just a marketing bullshit without any advantage at all. Any. It just drains your battery faster, heats your phone easier, and lags your OS for no reason.
The screen resolution is (not only but also) the reason for the iphone 6 being a great performer in web browsing and other stuff. Asus is thinking well.
Besides that, i've used Asus' PadPhone and it runs so smooth. They do a pretty good jog in their UI and they tweak Android in a very wise way. Can't understand why they don't sell a lot more phones than they do.

That's a very low score given that it's only at 720p and that this chip gobbles up far more juice than any phone-class ARM SoC.

Can't see Intel ever closing the gap, now that Samsung / GlobalFoundries have hit mass production of 14nm FINFET chips ahead of them.
