It worked just as good as in those great ads. The device in real life were fast and supersmooth like nothing else in the market.

"I say: Sure. But there are other products out in the market who are much greater and have a much better price than the iPhone though."

Clearly there isn't or why would android flagship owners switching to those new bigger iPhones. Clearly they aren't happy with their devices if they want to buy iPhone. Also its not all about device itself, it's the whole packet which matters.

Ads are only good for new customers. Most of Apple growing sales comes from satisfied customers who want to buy same brand device again.

I say: True. But like i said about the marketing and ads, that's true on what i said to new customers. Apple knows how to trick someone with the fancy and cute ads and marketing while the experience might be something else in the real world.

Even most of the animations and how fast something loads on the iPhone in the ads about it doesn't represents the real world usage in most cases.

How the iPhone loads one Apple app in an ad is never the same as it is in real world usage. That's the part where i say Apple is geniouses to trick peoples to think they gets something amazing, while it might not be amazing at all.

You said: And your another comment, exactly, happy satisfied customers are number one reason for Apple huge success. The word spreads and new happy customers coming every day.

I say: Well, that might be true to some points. However, Samsung is overtaking Apple in that segment now, so lets see how things folds in the future.

You said: So just like i said great products are the reason, if you wouldnt be happy with your device you wouldn't recommend it to your friends.

I say: Sure. But there are other products out in the market who are much greater and have a much better price than the iPhone though.

You know that you have something that is great, then greater and then greatest.

"Touchscreens will NOT be supported" -Google,July 2006.

I say: LOL, you are refering to something that was said in 2006, aka in the developements of the Android OS. Just because it wasn't planned to feature one thing many many years ago doesn't mean it's the same today. Infact, Android was very touchscreen friendly when i got my Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10i back in 2009.

No, the touchscreen function wasn't planned in the beginning because Android was originally not meant for touchscreen phones back then. But that changed fast after the iPhone came out in 2007.

So you argument here is wrong.

And as for Specs =/= performance as you said, you are right about that if you only think about running the OS. You needs alot more power to run games and more heavier apps faster. So have you seen how great the loading times on games and different apps loads on the Galaxy S6 compared to the iPhone 6?

The difference in some games and apps are HUUUUUUGE.

More cores, more RAM, better GPU helps alot on tons of things.

Not only that, but it's better to have more CPU-cores, more RAM and so on over having to little of it as long as it doesn't kills the battery.

You said: On the otherhand iOS is developed from the ground up to be a touch screen OS.

I say: Most likely true yeah, but don't you think Google changed the whole code of the OS to support touchscreens fully out after the first iPhone came out?

Infact, Android works better for touch than it does with mouse and keyboard.

AnonD-1825, 28 Apr 2015"Selling the most doesn't says anything about how good... moreYou said: Sure it does, especially growing sales. You can't make sales like Apple does without having great products, thats the fact.

I say: Now i didn't say that Apple products was bad in any shape of form. I just said that they are ok with a ridiculously high price.

Growing sales comes from more marketing with like i said, fancy ads with cute CGI's and stuffs like that that makes the product to look much better than it really is in real life.

Yeah you know, that Apple spent soooo much time to create such a wonderful crafted corner. Peoples bites on that and thinks they are buying something jewelry while they just gets a normal phone in aluminum with a boring and dead static OS where most peoples doesn't even know what they are going into.

They just knows that Apple is very known (because of marketing and ads) and that alot of their friends just recommends the iPhone for them and says the iPhone are so great yadda yadda yadda. That's the main reason why so many are buying them.

You said: And if thats not enough, why Apple devices always have most satisfied customers?

I say: I'll guess you are outdated with your information.

On the otherhand iOS is developed from the ground up to be a touch screen OS.

Thats also the reason why 2015 Android flagships like the Galaxy S6 and M9 still doesnt have default FDE while the iphone 3GS had it in 2009.

Selling the most doesn't says anything about how good the devices are in reality.

Selling a mid-range spec'ed phone for premium++ price isn't what i call a good way to do things.

I'm sure Apple could have sold a cheese slicer for 10k dollars to the masses with enough fancy mind-blowing cute CGI's and with enough masturbating over how amazing the details and how much effort they have put into creating the round corners on the cheese slicer and so on in their ads about the product.

Sure, Apple are geniouses with their ads to trick the peoples minds to believe that Apple products are 'a must have' product.

However, is that a good thing?

                No.

Srb, 28 Apr 2015The internet exist and is this huge THANKS to the tech gian... moreYes, but after dominating for too long, like IBM for almost half a century, and Microsoft for over two decades, they begin to stagnate and stop innovating. They cease to innovate because they already own you and would like things to stay as they are... until they get blindsided by innovators/newcomers like Google and a resurgent Apple, who were able to create the next "big thing" and ride the wave until it crashes.
Apple and Google know this, so now they are busy trying to protect what they have and are starting to behave the way IBM and Microsoft have in the past by stifling the competition.

I'm not worried about Apple, they are too big to fail... just like IBM and Microsoft. But will they keep leading? is the Apple watch the right way to go?

That makes it over 130 million iPhones sold since the release of he iPhone 6. That's a lot of phones.
