old news.. known this thing a year ago.. all this camera thing were all made from one same source. what makes them better from other phone? there software. Im more interested on camera of LG G5 (u will see it next year).. this apple thing.. old news.. there already designing camera for iphone 7.

Decreasing the pixel size would be the stupidest thing to do. Smaller pixel - less light - higher the chance for noise! So 12mpx would result in a bigger image size... and that's it.
The lens is what gives more details in an image, not the pixel count.
Unlock RAW recording and everything will be fine.

Stop trolling noobs. More pixels not mean better photos and iphone 6 already takes great photos. Apple doesn't need a 20 mp snapper.

finally APPLE SURRENDERED to the megapixel race.....
though 12 does not sound or look great ........ further more there are not changing the lens.....so the low light photos will take the beating

Looks like iphone finnaly getting 4k recording... lol... Till last year, 8 mp was more than enough and 4k is not necessary for few years...And now we can see..

If Steve was alive today,he would have introduced or made something really different than the running market of today. Since steve is no more thats why mr cupertino has broked all steve's laws and rules just because android and samsung is ruling todays technology market. If you cant beat them join them. And thats what mr cupertino is doing today. sammy made smartwatch then apple jumped in this line as well,increasing sizes and cameras. Steve would have never did this kind of stuff what mr cupertino is doing now.

just coming from iPhone 5 to the increased sensor size in 5s reduced low light shot noise insanely.
