I've lost count) diff badged cheaper Snapdragon 200/400 Lumias that can barely cope even with heavier written for ARM apps is a dumb idea when/if Continuum + OneCore are being touted around as the killer features. Needs only a slightly better yet realistic baseline sys reqs, ffs no one is saying $150 and down phones should be running Crysis.

At the end Microsoft wants to sell their phones and they are not Apple those have heavy fan boys. So, better not be Apple as closed ecosystem and give some freedom. When we buy any phone, it's our choice how we want them to look and that's only reason more than 75% of the market share is Android.

Windows doesn't need 3gb ram and octa core for normal use.. However it will be needed for continuum (where you plug supported new model phone into tv and get full desktop windows).

To be frank, I will not like every time notifications blinking on the home screen. If you refer to Windows 10, Microsoft also felt the same and they will be changing the UI to be more intuitive. Just give preference to the people by customization. If they like Tile then keep it Tile and if not then Widget Style of different themes. Just give people freedom to choose.

And Apple will respond by introducing DNA scanning on their phones, as that too cannot be faked. Once that is done, Apple will patent DNA scanning and all hospitals will be forced to buy an Apple phone. Good times ahead. Regards

Well, MS can always test the water with their phones. One with Fujitsu's iris and one Snapdragon's fingerprint. After all they got 2 phones coming, right?

Its because of Tile UI i like windows...As soon Lumia fall into the new of Android it will loose its popularity.. its a tough market in Android and very difficult to stand against samsung .....
