n you guys act like you know everything about smartphone manufacturing? common man. you dont like the phone, dont buy it man, move on. no need to be freakin rude over here.

and if removeable battery was a freakin big deal then iphones would have been a flop.

wait for next Galaxy Note .. Samsung will definitely bring "force touch" but in a cheaper way with higher price :-)
I started laughing when I saw some people get frustrated with their fingerprint scanner in Galaxy ... Just look around you- you may find those funny guys with their High End Device and 0 usability .............. shame on Samsung.
And my wife's Galaxy A5 - starts complaining no SIM .. I asked her not to take anything from Samsung. Total waste of money..................

In less than 2 yea... moreYes, if the normal battery life takes about 300 cycles (that's fully charging from drained battery) to be efficient enough for use, then if you need to charge twice daily for power usage, you end up 150 days till it's considered as inefficient battery life. That's like only 5 months! The "I-don't-know-I-don't-care" bling-bling crowd will not consider this - they want a toy, not a tool.

It makes perfect sense, but unfortunately when it comes to smartphone companies, CEOs are totally insane and retarded people with no common sense left.

In less than 2 years, it will already not have enough juice for a day (Actually a fresh 4100mah battery still won't have enough juice for a real one day of whatever usage. That's another reason removable batteries are important - you can use an extended battery, currently with up to 10 000 mah).

I would put money on the Note 5 sales being worse than the Note 4.
The dual sim note 5 is rumored to have external storage which seems to indicate how worried Samsung is about this.

They tried doing it like iPhones - they aren't making waves with those. S6 just got a $200 permanent discount because it isn't selling as Samsung thought. Meantime, the over simplified iPhone, with its simplified operation for the simple masses are selling because it's target market as the most popular phone is for the "I-don't-know-I-don't-care" crowd. There are lots of them out there.

Yes, an easy removable bumper could be enough. I also question the metal sides as they dent on impact. If rather think rubberised sides would be the more logical solution. But nooooo, the bling-bling hipster crowd want something shiny and metal!

That glass back is curving to 2 of its edges? They actually spent money to curve that? It could have been easily a textured rubberised removable back.
For the less informed:
From research, batteries degrade over time. It's a weak link to the whole system. Percentage indicators will not show that, but you can observe that from the first week of user on a single full charge, to 3 months later. Like I could get 12 hours of continuous use at first, after a year, only half of that time. It loses the ability to hold a charge. Cycling batteries slows that down, and you can change the set easily.

This picture looks fake. I have seen different angle of the same pictures. Actually, there are many pictures from the exact same guy. They said it was taken in Canadian Bell store. The fact that there is iphone in the picture make people think it is Apple store. Now, why is Samsung in Apple store? The boxes is taken from completely different source from Facebook. Remember the leaked picture of Xperia C5 Ultra in Brazil, that turns out to be fake.
