REASON:
How many iPhone have iApple sold since the introduction of iPhone? 100 million???
3 billion download for 100 million phone, which mean an average of iphone user download 30 apps?? I don't think so.!!!

For example: Nokia can sell like 10 million very low-end phones that are really cheap and apple can sell 5 million iphones. Which company do you think earns most? Apple right? That's the same with their current situation. The only reason Nokia is "number one" is because of those low-end phones. But if you clearly see who is the true number one, no doubt apple is truly the one! Plus do you know how HUGE the amount of money Apple makes? Their financial report showed MAJOR success in Q3 while Nokia even posted some loss... And now Apple has yet again made success with the AppStore. Nokia is sooo going down and now they try to sue Apple... Pathetic.

Marketwise Nokia don't care about Apple. Nokias competitor is Samsung if they even have one. Or are you people saying 20 million sold iPhones since 2007 is more than Nokias 1.7 billion units sold?
People only think Nokia sells their phones, but they make more than Appstore on their services like Nokia maps etc which over 200 million people use everyday.
Nokia is the biggest supplier in the world of military communication and tetrapack, they even own Navteq in 60 contries (the biggest navigation satellite provider world) 85% of all the cars in the world have Navteq.
So please don't come with the pathetic Appstore nonsense and the Apples 2% market share, it's just ridiculous, now if u were Samsung fans then u would have a casem cause Samsung is a monster in the making and hundreds of electronic divisions.

Firstly I am Glad GSMArena is starting to talk about Apple These days.
out of 100K Apps 75% of them are Crap and rest are good and useful in some way or the other. I guess the new product which is anticipated this year is also a run time for AppStore so we can certainly see more downloads and Apple making money only from Hype no real stuff. I am Sure AppStore will have a Dead End Soon. We should have CloudStore where you don't have to install just Run, thats the future.

Most apps are awful, but that's not to say I haven't downloaded lots in order to find that out. I don't even open the app store anymore.
Still though, it's astounding how many are being downloaded - and at what a rate.

The juggernaut rolls on, the next phone I get will be another iPhone so I can transfer all my Apps to it, 4.5GB worth, there is no other phone worth even looking at because of this.
