            The nexus 4 is still going to get marshmallow, just not directly from google... Xda here we go! Luckily i'm just keeping mine a couple moths longer until i switch to either a Z3 or a Moto X 2015.

And the phone usually runs faster/same given all the new features. And if they don't get the update, they still get the security updates through google play services every six weeks.

              This is all in contrast to older iOS devices. If anybody says their 4s runs faster on ios 9 compared to whatever ios was originally running on the 4s, they're full of crap. Watching older ios devices crawl on the newest versions of their OS is hilarious.

                              No reason to stop supporting Nexus 4 and Nexus 10, just planned obsolescence.
