Though I have never used it, I want windows phone to be a success, the more competition in the market the better as far as consumers are concerned.
However at these prices I am sorry to say most people will simply turn to the better known alternatives, At maybe £399.99 for 950 and say £459.99 or the 950 XL they might maybe stand a better chance.
The Windows Phone platform needs a compelling flagship at an even more compelling price to give it that surge needed to start seriously building and expanding a user base. Sadly these device's (solid though I am sure they are) and at these prices are neither.
Looks like Windows will just have to limp on in an ever so distant 3rd place, which is a shame.

wer, 07 Oct 2015still is windows phone with lack of apps It does have a lack of apps at the moment but soon it will have a lot more thanks to the universal apps. Agreements with Facebook and Instagram as well as the agreement with Google. So expect a lot more apps to come through especially from the Google play store.

There are over 600,000 Apps all Windows need is dedication from developers all major Apps are there just not with attention to quality update. The only two that are intentionally and Childishly not making Apps for Windows are Google n Snapchat.

Lumia 1020 was hardly selling at £350 so at £550 literally nobody will buy this phone.

Awesome. I was willing to jump ship this year to whomever produced the most compelling device. Either an iPhone 6s, Galaxy Edge 6 or Lumia 950. Lumia wins hands down.
