15 October, 2015
Different US analysts are trying to figure out exactly how well the iPhone is doing and initial estimates might have been too ambitious.

AnonD-1825, 15 Oct 20156s going to outsell 6, second biggest iPhone share still co... moreYou're delusional.

The 6s is selling worse than even the 5s. The 6s has 25% less searches than the 5s.
Lines were 60% shorter than last year's.
Apple shipped 13 million to retailers and carriers, but consumers aren't biting. All those iPhones are being stuffed in warehouses and taking a beating on Apple's profits.

It is only a matter of time before apple reaches its peak. If it doesn't happen this generation, maybe the next one. Samsung already reached that peak in 2013 and felt a sharp decline in 2014, while in 2015, the decline is less steep thanks to much more releases of low and mid range phones, and earlier discounts of their flagships.

Its called a saturated market, nearly everyone in the western world has a smartphone. The bubble has burst and finally Apple are starting to feel the pinch (even though they are technically still selling well compared to other OEMs).

the sales might be high in USA & Europe but not in Asia and Africa, cos u have to buy the phone outright in these regions. Americans can walk in to carriers and sign a 2years contract for any flagship phone of their choice and pay in installment.

I doubt them to sell 50million iphone6s and 6s plus.

They need to cut down the price otherwise its very difficult for apple to sustain in the Market....

The same routine will happen all over again.

The biggest mistake would be pricing the iPhone at $1420 in India for no obvious reason. Killing the market that would have otherwise been their 2nd largest, not a very smart idea. Then again, Apple knows best. Perhaps they don't want the curry smell of the Indian money. (j/k, I'm Indian)

6s going to outsell 6, second biggest iPhone share still coming from 5s users and more and more of them going now for 6s because its great upgrade.

So very likely 6s going to outsell last year model.

Many have realised that the safety of the walled garden is a little too expensive for the same meal served up a slightly different way year after year.

Smartphone market is too saturated already. Too many brands. And iPhone is too expensive! But still the projected figure is something many phonemakers would love to have!
