When your friends are asking you to join their Clash of Clans clan, you can't. They're not just going to start playing Age of Empires simply because that's the one game you have access to. Similarly, you're the one guy that cannot connect to your work telephony because Avaya doesn't make an app for your model, but your coworkers can transfer desk calls to their handsets on the way into the meeting.
There is a problem with lack of apps, and the quantity is not the issue.

To summarize, "The LG Nexus 5X is good for about two and a half days of moderate use, but with heavy use it will get you to the end of the second day."
At least it's way better than its predecessor, my gosh the battery life was atrocious that's really the only area Google and LG needed to improve on their budget friendly phone and it seems like they have.

But I have nothing else running in the background that would do this, the device is in deep sleep 80% of the time and the battery life is atrocious too, it's draining at the rate of 2,5% per hour when it's IDLE.

But the most used apps are just better on IOS or Android. Viber, Whatsapp, facebook... are not as good on MS like on the others.

AnonD-328513, 19 Nov 2015Nexus 5X is far from buttery smooth and lag-free. I have one.I don't own a 5X myself but I did use a Nexus 5 for a while and that thing never lagged, even if it had shitty battery life. You might have a bad unit or some bad process' running in the background.

How will it handle the stress on daily usage?
The OS will get slower unlike wp 8.1, they said it thmeself.
And a very important thing, what is the battery life when using continuum? You will have to carry a bunch of cables if you are going to use it on more locations.
The whole story has a nice sound to it, but it is just a startup and an idea which has to be polished a year or two.
