        Sorry Gionee!!! I won't buy it as it is expensive for its specs. They seem to be 1 year old. Battery alone can't be the only selling proposition. This is the age of 20 MP Cam, 1080 video, and much more. Not even worth Rs. 10000. Thanks for launching it in India. try launching another device.

              Anonymous, 24 Nov 2015You are the kind of person that never had a flagship phone ... morenot every body is rich and can afford flag ship
              not every body want to spend money to change phone every year.
              most people with tight budget (even those who buy flagship)
              want to buy a phone that can last maybe around
              5 years where they can replace the battery every year (or two).

              not every body want to wait 30 minutes (or up to 3 hours)
              waiting their phone to fully charge
              where the removable battery have 1 minute waiting time to fully 100%
              with just swap it.

              that is why the "Top 10 by daily interest"
              and the "Top 10 by fans"
              were occupied by phone with removable battery
              now you are pretty smart to realize this dont you

You let the battery drain below... moreSo not only you're happy to having 6 hours (at most) of Screen on time, you're happy to decrease it to 2.5 and be even more content? All the while the much more logical solution of a replaceable battery is in tap?

                  A battery is a consumable, treating it any other way greatly violates the usage patterns of a smart device (you mostly use it as a dump device otherwise).

                    AnonD-463876, 25 Nov 2015Is it used by Samsung, LG, Moto, HTC, Microsoft/Nokia etc? ... moreOf course not the famous brand. It is used by Meizu M2 Note and ZTE Blade V6 for example.

                                You let the battery drain below 40%! That's a huge mistake! There was a GSMArena article that you should always have your Li-Ion battery in the 40-80% charge. And over 80% is OK, but no way under 40% or even worse, to go out to 0%.
                                I have an old Galaxy S1 with original 1500 mAh battery which is now more than 5 years old and I'm still using it LOL. On its 5th birthday (again LOL) I forgot my charger and had to be without it for a few days.
                                My battery lasted for 4 full days: I was 24 hours on Wi-Fi with everything synced (Weather, GMail, Contacts, Calendar,...) and my Screen time was 1.5 hours (I could never get more than that in whole 5 years of use). Maybe my phone's battery capacity fell to 80%, but I really doubt it. You could of course got much worse battery life because you didn't know how to properly use it.
                                Like others pointed out this is the new era of Li-Ion and Li-Po batteries, forget those horrible Ni-Mh and Ni-Cd batteries!
                                Remember: The more often you charge it the better and keep it in 40-80% range as often as possible!

                                  Yousrsbruh, 24 Nov 2015LOL dude where you getting things from? Damn. Battery l... moreYou obviously failed basic math. If it drops 10% per 100 charges:
                                  100= 90%
                                  200= 81%
                                  300= 72.9%
                                  400= 65.6%
                                  500= 59%

                                  Idk if the 10% per 100 charges is real but if it was then it would follow like above.

                                    That mediatek chipset is at the bottom of charts. Above it is mt 6752, mt6753, mt6582 and helio x10. Soon helio x20 will surpass them all.
