Just a 720p display at 17999/-...??? It should be 1080p... But with 720p, it will last longer...
Vibe P1 is superior than this.... NFC, fingerprint scanner, fhd display, Premium build etc...

And I very much dispute that battery tech has progressed, in fact it has remained remarkably stagnant all the while everything else progressed.
I *hate* having to charge my phone (I always keep one charged spare), I hate even more to see the "charge your phone warning" and subconsciously be wary of my use. I hate losing charge over months of use.
A typical phone has 5 to 6 hours of Screen on time, that's pathetically little if it is one's main computing device (as it often is).
If anything spare were useless in the pre-smartphone era as there was not much to do with phones back then and we're less indispensable. Plus they charged faster (due to the low mah).
I started to use spares only very lately, they were honestly useless in the dumb phone era. *Now* is theit time.

Battery loses 10% capacity every 100 full charge cycles?
Okay so do the math. If it loses 10% every 100 charges that means that in 1,000 charges it will end up losing 100% therefore your battery won't even work. So if you charge your phone every night from dead to 100% like everyone does, you'd have charged it 1,000 times in 2 years and 9 months. So you're trying to tell me that my flagship phone won't even turn on in 2 years and 9 months? Hahahha yeah right bruh. Makes so much sense. GG.

Battery technology have com... moreBatteries do still lose charge my dear 10% per every 100 full cycles or so....for most people its not very noticable as they only keep their phones for a year or 18 months so they may see slight reduction. But for those who run their phones to 0% all the time and or keep their phones for 2 years + are prone to SUBSTANTIAL differences....i noticed this on my note 3 towards its end life and have tested it a few times, my old battery could only hold charge under normal usage for approx 8hrs whereby my new battery could perform the same tasks for easily 12-14hrs....even on my nokia performed a similar way after its lifespan had passed so to speak

Well it is obvios that battery life is the main focus here , but in my opinion OnePlus X + a Rs.1000 powerbank is a better buy.
The max frequency of this processor is only 1.3 Ghz. Expect lag/stutter in CPU intensive tasks like browsers , some games etc.

It comes to the point that it is no longer necessary to replace them continuously. It is true for battery back in the early 2000's but now most battery are over 3000mah and Li-Po type. This is not your typical nickel cadmium 500mah dumb phone battery. It have longer life cycle and proven to be more efficient. Soon we will start using magnesium based battery that hold charges better and longer. Science does not wait for no man.

Heavy as it is, who care? It can charge multiple device and multiple brands too. Only idiot carry swapable battery that can only be use for only that 'one' particular phone model. Powerbank can be share. Most people have more than one smartphone anyway. It is easier to carry a powerbank. That is the conclusion. You will never understand until you try one.

Mediatek chipset less overheating and less overheating drain battery slower. 720p will not strain the battery too much either. That is the reason why it is designed that way. Ask yourself. Why design a smartphone with FHD or QHD and put 6020mah battery just to drain it faster anyway? Why use overheating Qualcomm instead of Mediatek? This is good enough.

I love quick chargers destroying my battery, I love having to find a plug wherever I am, I started to forget the feeling with my outdated Note 4 (btw by far the best phone in 2014, and prolly in 2015 too).
I love having to charge not one but two devices (the mobile charger too). I love how bulky and slow to charge mobile chargers are. I mean all of those so much that I threw my ancient Note 4 and got on with the times by buying HTC M9 or was it iphone 6?
God I love it so much to be hip, I love fearing low battery situations, I love it all. You must be some kind of genius, you opened my eyes. God!

I was using the Redmi Note (my first 5.5"), nice ph, but while a 720pp display is fine on a 5", its too low & lame on a phablet, so upgraded to the K3 Note(1080p) and its been working fine! Now I am concidering upgrading to 3gb Ram with Fingerprint scanner & larger battery but its thoroughly disappointing to see the M5 sport a lousy 720p resolution!!!
*India is a lousy country to call home, but one consolation is that we get most phones released here, I am confident of findind a suitable ph soon enough!
