All for nothing 4gb Ram is enough for 95% of heavu users..we would raather have a 3/4 full days battery life than fanster chips etc...

if they have SD830 so why in 2016 device is having SD820 ?

its totally wastage of silicon and forcing people to make more electronic waste on earth ..

So we cannot have "real" portable personal computing because of the usual catch 22,makers won't make devices until there is a big enough market, and not a big enough market until there are devices.
But,just like big screens, even a few devices are enough to kick start a cycle, why should we have to piss about using mobile devices but when we have to do some real work,we still have to fall back to desktops/laptops.
We need someone to force a joining of the ways between arm and Intel, seeing as how it looks like we are stuck with ms Windows for the foreseeable future for most folks as I see no hint of someone writeing a new "proper" General computing language that will be usable on any device,Windows ten isn't it.

          This goes to flagships, obviously.
The industry needs this kind of tech development to churn out something "new". (I doubt adding the amount of RAM is considered a new tech. Sounds more like a "first" to me)

For me, I don't see I need one of those (2017 flagships) but this doesn't mean I don't welcome their existence.

Why not use the smaller mobile chips in p.c's!
i.e use multiple chips in one p.c to make them much better than mobile phones

They should optimise android further for optimum usage of ram and enhancing the multitasking further

Looking at the Windows Continuum debut in Lumia 950 and the 4K screen of Xperia Z5 Premium, Such power can be put to good use; only if the Battery industry supports so...
Anyway, in either case, running Windows Continuum via MiraCast would be a breeze...
Also, dont forget the VR tech being developed and the 3D / Force touch, Iris Recognition and ever improving FingerPrint Scanners...
A powerful DRAGON would be needed to power it all ;-)

Zenodroid, 01 Dec 2015i kind of dont see why they make new and more powerfull cpu... moreBecause we want more. We want more powerful phones, we want agumented and virtual reality, we want personal assistants, we want artificial intelligence... these things require more and more computing power, but think what our phones will be like in 10 years.

All that "musty-tasking" tasking does push current chips....

i kind of dont see why they make new and more powerfull cpu and gpu for phones. the bigger screens and higher resolutions, makes it kinda slow anyway. imagine that cpu in a phone with 5 incn and 720p screen ;) the bigger screen and higher resolution = the more use of the full power. and not really a boost in any way.
