The highest demanded Country is India and Xiaomi is not selling its popular Smartphones in India like Redmi Note 3 Instead Xiaomi is selling Redmi Note Prime ( Fully Crap ) with Snapdragon 410 that's clearly a deal breaker.

Xiaomi ended up in India with just Mi 4i for the whole year. and an upgrade of Redmi 2.
People were disappointed for no new device, further they couldn't expand to new locations except Brazil. even on festival noting was offered new. Wuawei took the lead.

      Thats a relief!

This is a result of poor management of the company. They produced good phones , televisions, etc.
I hope that was just a little careless in their side and will back to normal.
They feared competitors for other phone manufacturers .

In the life of any electronic equipment manufacturer no ups and downs . Xiaomi has excellent phone . But leadership does not have to smart people . Because this happens things like that.
I hope the company manger to bring people in more intelligent management .

If you will improve and global sales strategy and is now in a state of disaster, will make it known . For them, Xiaomi , depends entirely .

How could Xiaomi make sales when people want to buy their products but not available. Xiaomi itself to be blamed. They make very good phones with very affordable price but people can't buy. It's different story for Samsung and Apple's phones, they release it everywhere and people can buy which model they want, but Xiaomi?
For example, in India, Malaysia and Indonesia to name a few, people there want to buy Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 3, Mi 4, Mi Note Pro, etc but again, they just can't because not available in their respective countries.

Well they lock their bootloaders now, so Hawei it is.

tech guy, 15 Jan 2016well they only succeed in any where beacouse of the publici... moreI've had two Xiaomi products, now my friends are using those (bought for resale). They're very well built and have reasonable software quality (as long as you don't chase weekly developer builds, which sometimes contain small bugs here or there). Overall, I loved them.

The main problem - they aren't sold here officially, so the only way to get one is to import it from china. Meizu, on the other hand, offers similar-level products at similar prices, considering the premium you have to pay for Xiaomi products (can't buy directly from Xiaomi due to a ton of limitations on their "flash sales").

Xiaomi will see jumps in their sales again once they start to "officially" sell their phones in US, EU or similarly large market with their insanely low prices.

The problem is with the fan and brand value. People prefer smart phones with company accessories. The problem here is the company provides phones, headphone but other accessories like power banks are never available and are only available in flash sales. This would hamper customer value and mostly would create a depreciation in number of people liking the brand. All said, No flagship phone for more than 1 year always is gonna be a problem for any damn company.

Xiaomi selling outdated products outside China. This is just a start. Xiaomi will not exist longer.

First, sales growth can not be leaping each year because a growth % is based on previous year sales. There is no dip in sales and volume is in several tens of millions. Xiaomi caught the market by offering new technology with quality components and build at a very affordable price. The mid income consumers especially young gen caught on this and sales zoomed supported by the buyer opinions thanks to the MI forums and partly by concepts of flash sale or online sale. They concentrated on the big market less affording nations and their buyers are largely those waiting to own a smartphone when affordable. However, many other players are competing with similar offers. Xiaomi is no doubt better than its competition. Now Xiaomi should concentrate on the lower income group with good phones who use phones mostly for calling and music for example. Those who prefer Nexus or Apple or Samsung Edge are perhaps not big market for Xiaomi.
