G4 bootloops are caused by hardware issue, LG vows to repair affected units

Many owners of the LG G4 have complained about a bootloop issue, but so far without receiving any assistance whatsoever from the Korean smartphone maker. Well, that's finally changed.

It is unacceptable on the part of LG company.

My gue... moreyou power on you phone and your g4 either 1) just shows the lg logo, doesn't do anything else 2) boots to your home screen and then instantly boota again 3) and most possible, it shows lg logo, powers off and then shows lg logo again etc the phone tries to boot unsuccessfully. if you don't know what is it, you are not affected.

                What is biotloop and power cycle itself ?
                My guess is that power cycle itself is restart itself in standby for example when its in your pocket it restarts for no real reason. Is it this one?

                  pratiush, 26 Jan 2016What are bootloops? Can any body explain in detail?1st. You will either see only booting image (it will be showing infinitive that booting logo / animation) and nothing would will be able to do.
                  2nd. Or It will boot normally, and at the final moment it will reboot again and again so this is what bootloop is. Mostly it is software issue but this one seems to be hardware issue. Had a lot of these bootloops when flashing custom ROMs.
