Ever sin... moreYes and anandtech itself shows that you can't use all those cores at the same time for long before it throttles. Do you want a processor that is only strong for a few minutes or one that performs the same for as long as you're playing your game? Use some common sense please! It's like people whining about budget phones not having 1080p/qhd etc. Don't you realise when you increase screen resolution, the screen needs more juice, you need stronger gpu to get same fps as a screen with lower resolution and they have to compromise somewhere at those price points which usually mean battery stays same size and you get horrible battery life. A good phone is not always about the stupid specs.

It was ridiculous to see ifanboys keep shouting same non-sense repeatedly because apple told them so for IOS. And it was not apple's fault - they don't even have brains to think that Android and IOS are totally different. Will be fun to hear from them when Apple goes for more than 2 cores in their chipsets in future.

A bit off topic though.., all I'm saying is proper multicore performance can be useful (also for things like media processing).

All those blinding white panels in Lolipop/Marshmellow gives headaches, eyesore and keeps the neighbors awake.
One advantage is that you don't need a flashlight-app anymore with Lilopop as the UI is blinding enough.
Sometimes it's even ridiculous. Just open Chrome's blinding white settings-screen to "turn on night mode" and your right awake! Hahahaha! The moron who invented that UI should be shot!

Samsung's launcher sux big time. It can easily be fixed by installing a different one like Buzz Launcher.
But the worst is the settings design. It's so damn ugly I passed the chance of buying an GS6. It looks like a cheap software replica done by someone in mspaint lol
Vanilla Android is the best! And the closest to it is Sony. I just love how Sony's settings design looks like!

S820 is the best, Samsung trolls always jealous, can't blame them when their chips are so chap. Snapdragon also have the best features for use in a mobile device, Samsung doesn't offer anything except deceitful benchmarks, so carry on Samsung trolls and remember to throw your dummies out wawawawa!

If you already have a flagship phone with SD 801 or better, you probably don't need this. Your current phone is good enough for another two years.
No need to always have the latest. Save your money.

What a manipulative article is this. The article contains the diagram only for the multicore performance, and not for the single core performance. This is typical misleading of the incompetent readers. The article is trying to manipulate/suggest people to think that the Exynos is better, the more the cores the better. But in fact, the single core performance proves that the Snapdragon 820 is the superior. At least the article mentions it in a sentence.
Why? Because the better single core performance is much more important.
When we are talking about CPU, then only the single core performance is what matters. Because most Android programs and games are single threaded (for example the most CPU intensive programs are the emulators (DosBox, PPSSPP, ...), they use mainly 1 core only).
Multicore benchmarks are brainwashing gimmicks for the ignorants. In real world, you will NEVER use all cores at 100%, so you will never experience the benefit of 8 cores.
