i dont care about simple things like crap sd cards and removable battery. there are other ways. but, i really hope resolution will be max 1080p, 4k+ battery and exynos cpu on the 5.1" s7. im excited to to see what they will bring, and if they can offer me a good phone instead of my note 5.

Battery life is known to be less than 2 ye... moreHere in the UK the majority of people are on contract with their network provider and get their phone when they take out their contract. The usual contract length now is 24 months, ergo most people change their phones every 2 years. I for one certainly do. So no, I don't think Samsung have lost the plot. Look at the majority of phone manufacturers these days and you will find the battery has a lifetime of approx 2 years. Certainly not just Samsung.

There was a study done by the Georgia Institute of Technology that claims that SD cards can slow down performance up to 2000% in very extreme cases.

SD cards have been around for a while, but I guess it really does depend on the phone too.

Other manufacturers have included the micro-sd in the same tray that takes the SIM card into the phone and performance is a non-issue -- the internal memory is still UFS being the external memory only used for *optional* mass-storage.
