Opera Apps Club is is an "all you can eat" app store for Android

Like Netflix, you pay a fixed monthly fee and then use all the apps you want.

It should be pretty easy to do technically. One way would be that you simply had a pool at the carrier for the Android-Market, it could be with on demand filling, or through a deal of an initial amount and a fixed increment every month along with what ever other plans the carrier offers.
It should be in the carriers interest too, as it would generate more traffic, and thus push people into getting larger plans.

      Seems nice, specially for india, where card money is rare, i never downloaded any app due to international payment issue of my card

        Google should not allow this, multimedia companies like netflix work because it has nearly everything one wants but here there are just a few hundreds out of millions in app store. It is really bad for the application market economy. It should be opposed and we should stand for "app neutrality"

              Will be interesting to see the pricing model.
              Usually a new owner of a device would be likely to download several apps to customize it for their particular needs, but after some time the rate will lower, so the pricing should reflect that.

                  Competitor to App store and Google Play store but on subscription basis. We'll see.
