When listening to youtube videos or when your sharing a video with somebody else it was so much louder than any other bottom firing speaker on most flagships and that's what seperates the boom sound experience for me

They're not intended to be a replacement for a set of quality headphones or external speakers. They're for when those are not an option, either because you're sharing audio/video with friends, or you just don't have those at hand. You may not personally want or need them, but plenty of us do.

Even cheap headphones offer actual deep bass and sound quality - tiny phone speakers just are not capable to produce anything like that. M8 also had quite a flat sound as lower frequencies simply were not there. I just use external speakers or headphones to actually enjoy music. :)

That bottom speaker is for base the front speak is for your highs and midds. The sound on this phone is gonna blow your socks off.
As for headphones the same!

Beating the crup out of all smartphone speakers since the 1st smartphone speakers. King of music is one, and I doubt htc will have enough loudness and bass on that tiny speaker at the bottom. W995 has 2 huge speakers up and bottom.

I hope it's as good as the M7 at least. The Nexus6P speakers are garbage and front facing speakers should be the standard just like front and back cameras. The complete experience of any visual needs good audio

What audio DAC are they using, because if it is only the standard DAC that comes bundled with S820 I am not interested?!

Nobody else on this earth seems to notice this even in the leaked renders...
One speaker is on the bottom and the other speaker as usual is a part of the earpiece...
It's not as good as the original dual front facing speaker but better than a single speaker..

If leaked renders aren't counterfeited then we're getting only one speaker on the bottom of the phone. It's better than placing the speaker on the back but it still won't be capable of providing such stereo effect as dual front-facing speakers do.
