after all those rumors, I don't expect stereo speakers on HTC10. maybe the bottom grill holes on the image was just representing the microphone.
high quality for talking audio or video recording.

In fact they have some of the best headphone amps of all phones available.
In ear type buds are generally super easy to drive, armature styled ones even more so..
Large over ear and on ear type headphones are best served with an HTC..
Glad you said this; I like HTC not for their 'boomsound' per se, but for the sheer power in the headphone jack for driving bigger headphones.
This makes them a great personal audio player, something Sony generally won't do, with their phones, fearing it will take sales away from their personal audio market...
HTC have no such fears.
Finally a worthy replacement for the M7 and M8s...
And the camera in this phone is going to be in the top three cameras of all phones this year...
The little variances between them will be more in software.. And that can be updated.
Like the M7 and M8 which I believed were some of the best 'perfect' phones made in recent years, I look forward to recommending this phone to many.

so they're going to combine bottom side speakers with the front facing speakers on top of the phone...never seen that combo before, hope it'll give good resoults

Right now i m still using the first HTC ONE X ! We will see after 2 weeks ,but if all of the rumors are true , i m looking forward to upgrade my 4 years phone with this baby.
Desing , Camera , Sound , Power and Battery ! The Best !

If you look closely, both speaker forms in the teaser can be found on leaked render pic.
The upper one is the dotted earpiece (if you zoom in the render pic) and the 5 holes can be found on the lower end of the device next to USB Type-C port.
I guess HTC is trying to tease about it's newly positioned "dual speakers", although no longer both front facing anymore.

When you say the 'best of both worlds'; I hope you mean that when it looks simple like iOS it has Android features like putting icons wherever you want, and widgets etc?
IOS is a shitty front end, with a great OS underneath. I wouldn't skin any of my devices to be iOS like, unless I was giving it to an iOS user. (And they don't handle change well).

Whilst Dolby Z (headphone tech) was simulating height information; to state that 'it couldn't go wrong' is not true.
All previous Dolby Headphone devices I have owned have major issues when plugging in headphones with in-line microphones.
I now avoid them like the plague.
And I am one of the lucky ones who owns multiple sets of headphones with swappable cables.
Problem is I want my headphones that are connected to my phone to HAVE a microphone.
