Actually, we HAVE seen those grilles on the renders.
The top one is the grille of the loudspeaker and the bottom one is the grille of the speaker on the bottom of the phone.
Nothing complicated or mysterious here GSM Arena, just look at your own HTC 10 page and see :)

The grills in the advertisement are close up shots of the earpiece on top and the loud speaker holes on the bottom from the leaked image. The leaked images seem close to the actual device.

Really GSMArena? Can't you see small holes is the top speaker grill and other five are at the bottom of the phone next to charging port? They will probably work together like older HTC devices.

I don't have any high expectations for this phone, but let's see what happens. They should release a Max-version with at least 6" screen with minimal bezels as well, 5.1" is just too small for me.

why is everyone backingout from stereo speakers. . . The reviews from the lenovo vibe x3 and k4 note where outstanding. . . stereo speakers with dolby atmos, that could never go wrong. . .like in Some previous Gen Moto's

Why that so called innovative self-proclaimed Samsung still stick to their idiotic single mono tone bottom speaker which produced terrible soft audio? Is Samsung still stuck in year 2008?
I will definitely be getting this HTC M10 with its dual boomsound loud firing speakers which you can even hear audio clearly inside a disco environment.

No matter how great is the sound it won't be (ANY) better than Astell&Kern (no need to mention Altmann Terra). Wasting time to wait and wasting money to upgrade.

I hope it has front facing speakers. I don't care how good they are otherwise. Placement matters. If the speakers on on the bottom of the phone, no matter how good, it will be a regression.

I think the upper speaker is the ear peace and the lower one is the lower speaker grill near the charging port
