DenisXD, 21 Apr 2016For someone who calls himself tech pro, you really don't kn... moreFirst, your Sony device has a DAC. It is just the piece of hardware which converts digital audio to analog (for output via 3.5 jack). Without it, you can't play music.

Next, quality is all about the hardware. You can use any software player, but, as long as the hardware is not good enough, you will not be able to accurately replicate the audio signals, just emulate different styles using the software.

Are these continual digital lossless audio headphones exclusive to LeEco handsets or they need decoding chips on both the devices & earpiece through the type C connectors to work? I'm all for change for superior audio but when & how long will this break through become industry standards? LeEco has been a pioneer with several first.

At first there needs to be a solid H/W support and then comes S/W . U even don't know the S/W LeEco implemented. U forgot the basic idea that S/W are always progressing and pushed through OTA.

so yes you need to stop boasting ur W995. Its considered as a old junk now no matter how good it was when it was launched LOL.
However I dont believe that one needs to give up on the 3.5mm jack to listen the music from the micro usb port .I mean they can still make the usb headphones work while keeping the 3.5mm jack i mean micro usb can already tranfer data so whats the big deal with any these companies to keep the 3.5mm jack.

Whatever you say, deal with it. The music king is one and it's W995, like it or not. I don't care about what's what inside a device and if it's poor or rich. All smartphones so far fail to surpass it's quality, especially it's loudness both from headphones and speakers. That doesn't require much knowledge, it requires ears.

                      It's all about software here

lol they think 3.5mm jack is thing of the past and comes with a 'wired' USB-C, great. Ditch the wires already we dont need it. I have an NFC enabled Sony headset and it works flawlessly with my phone, i dont need useless wires hanging around.

It has CDLA. Do you even know what CDLA is? Grow up and stop boasting ur W995. Its about digital audio now, not some analog + 3.5 mm jack combo.

tech.pro, 21 Apr 2016It will be the best earphone with best quality sound output... moreFor someone who calls himself tech pro, you really don't know a lot about headphones. It's not the port that does the quality, it's the software behind the hardware that does this. I have an old Sony Ericsson W995, and i bet it doesn't have any audio dac. Listening to music from headphones with it is pure magic no kidding. Beating even the htc 10 in quality and loudness. It's the software that does most of the work through headphones.

Through phone speakers it's mostly hardware sure. Still W995 beats all smartphone speakers in quality and loudness.. makes you wonder where the hell are those dacs in the current smartphones are, and if they even work.

It will be the best earphone with best quality sound output. This phone supports quick charge so that you can quickly charge ur phone and then plug in the headphone.

So does it mean that 3.5mm jack looses its audio while Listening music? Lol What a Joke!

I have personally never experinced this lossfull audio with my 3.5mm jack with my SONY MDR 10RBT attached to my Note5, Not even when i use bluetooth with APTX support connection with this setup.unless the audio file is corrupted.

...Dont know what LeECO is thinking LOL.
No wonder why my SONY MDR 10RBT headphones is more expensive than LeEco's midrange smartphones.LOL.
Let the other more expensive audiophile headphones alone.Lol

USB headphones (usually with a microphone) are pretty common, not against these. But if they trying to make it the norm now, then this is pushing too far something that never needed change, there's literally no advantage. In fact I wonder what's to even mention about "lossless audio". Jeez every single USB DAC ever has this. The very 1st USB DAC protocol for USB 1.1 was solely based on PCM audio streaming - lossless.

Brand name wise I can't see it making an impact so poor costumers who'll end up with disposable products if they go by this strategy.
