There are lot of MIUI-ers asking whether Mi4i will receive MIUI 8 update or not.The photo attached in news telling about supported devices in China Developer Rom. Since Mi4i
already removed completely from China Developer ROM so it's normal Mi4i is not listed there.
However, Mi4i will still receive MIUI 8 update!

Those complaining MIUI must not be a MIUI user. It was true that MIUI was bloated and slow when I was a Mi 2S and Redmi Note user that I jumped in to AOSP based custom ROMs which indeed runs better at that time, but at least since MIUI 7 I feel no lag on Mi 4c & Mi Pad 2. They did optimize the ROM to be much better day by day, while still providing complete out of the box experience that most other ROMs lack of.
