they should make it clear that what size of battery will be charged from 0 to 70 in 20 minutes.
There are 2000 mah and 3000 mah batteries, commonly used in mobiles nowadays.

MediaTek's "insert catchy marketing name here" 3.0?

            3.0 eh?

Where's 1.0, 2.0, 2.5, etc.? Sounds like someone's trying to play catch up with Qualcomm lol.

My LG G2 is a few years old, supports Quick Charge 2.0, and charges from 20% to 80% in about 30 minutes.

Stick with the low end MT, it's what you know. Algorithmic trickle-pulse is the best way to achieve a fast charge . . not connecting the battery directly. That's just dumb. Now you're gonna have to make sure your wall wart supports this dangerous nonsense.

And others in this thread nailed it . . we need better battery chemistry; something NEW!!

            ;-)

These are kinds of practical innovations that we need! tired of listening to camera and design comparisons between OMEs. thumbs up mediatek!!

Fats or not, after year of usage of fast charging every battery work the same as 3-5 year old battery.

You can't jump over physic and chemistry of you use li-ion/poly batteries that are actually the same as those old ones with smaller changes.

If you use fats charging only sometimes it's not big problem. But if you use it everyday, after my own experience and by looking at other people opinions I can ensure you that after one year your battery gonna lost some juice, and it gonna lost it's power waaaay quicker.

Fast charging is nothing more than covering up lack of balls from OEMs to use new battery technologies that actually exist for good few years, and if you fallow that topic they manage to bump power of current lithium batteries by using only different materials... But it's more expensive so it's big no-no not to mention long terms contract that they signed to make those old batteries

Can't leave it unattended because it will overheat worst than snapdragon 810... But I think it very useful to have this maybe they should incorporate it into the iPhone 7 and 7 plus
