The reason Sony sales are declining on SEA countries is that their phones are pricey - and most people prefer locally manufactured phones since they offer higher specs at a lower costs than international brands. I still like Sony phones though they should consider a different marketing strategy to target consumers with their high-end specs, budget-friendly offers and excellent service.

Sony provides the worst customer service ever in India. How can they expect better sales! They don't provide warranty or service for phones that are bought outside India. Horrible it is! Z5C will be my last Sony phone ever.

Sony releases phones at ridiculous prices in countries like India, China where Xiaomi and other chinese junks. People will go for those even though they suck!
Look at the price of Xperia X, utter bs but good device.

They have yet to answer question why their cameras are so noisy and when will it stop. Last flagship also did not bring anything new, was without 4K, just FHD screen, no own VR device, no option for 4inch/5.7inch,.... What to do if not hate them after hitting that small hope we had for them. They would need X premium pro plus to be successful.

what you talking about?! i can t understand why sony have this many haters !! if you want a good phone just go for sonys flagships and don t look at funny reviews about sony mobiles .. best design .. best quality .. and usefull features .. and good camera that even reviewrs of great sites can t work with it .. sony cameraphones are best but you need to understand when using superiour auto when using full resulotion when using 15 or 8 resolution instead 20 or 23mp .. when you should use night mode .. or high sensivity mode .. and other things .. steady shot on xperia x is better than steady shot on z5 .. and steady shot on z5 is better than ois on s7 .. but people just searching for OIS in camera specs .. sony is great for greats

More like using premium price or naming phone premium, they should release "premium" phone as their flagship for flagship standard price. With coming apple/samsung premium phones(or you could also say high memory variants), I hope sony adds something more than memory and adds it to already premium flagship. Last phones Z5/X looks more like slight specs upgrade versions instead of major bang! unlike S7edge/lgg5. Well, cannot be worse than X series now...(or can?)

seing crap over priced, now samsung is more expensive than sony,
look at asus, they know theirphone will not sufvived after 2 years uses (some its only 1 year), but the price is not expensive (they now it), also almost all oppo machine is bad, day by day youll find your phone slower. and the price is not expensive.
just know your place~~~!!!
koreans phone (samsungLG) good after sales,
if you got the unlucky korean phone just go to service center and tomorrow willbe repaired
and what about sony!? 'it is DONE' thats we call it.
you must pay about 2-8 mounth for waiting tobe repaired, some rejected.
im gamer, there is a times when im loosing my mind and throw my phone because im loose in thegame (hahaha). i dont affraid, because if i made my pone damaged, service center will repair it fast, i dont care how much itis, but its littlebit expensive duh!!! (1/2 ~ 3/4 * phonePrice (samsungLG)) (while nokia is about 5%~45% * phone price = phone repair cost). how unfortunately untill now one of my lg phones still works, no need to go to service center.
believe me not, the expensive iphone screen made by LG, some Sharp.
(before this news), sony want to 'repair their service center' the sony chief executive in my country said that. damn, only bluffing, my phone hasnt returned into my hand (still repairing), its already been 8 months.
sony only bright when experia z series out, the shine darker when z2 is out, dying when z3 out (the service center starting to make creative reason). many users(buyer) complaining to my shop dude!!!, my shop shine also darker dude !!! they said my shop selling crap dude, so i stop selling sony, then i eat the leftover.

Sony is a household name in India if not the world, only if they get their head out of their asses, price their phones competitively rather than charging flagship prices for low-to-mid range spec phones Sony actually has a chance to do well not just in India but anywhere but, instead a stupid manager at some level who's balding & with a non-existant sexlife will force this decision upon the co and so, a new (as yet unknown) probably Chinese player will come & take-up that inconsequential 1-1.5% marketshare that Sony may have commanded in India. Just another day in the seesawing world of smartphones........

But it is also good to see Apple turning to Samsung to produce a decent display for the iPhone 7 ; )
