Well, they make good phones but not the best... And that's problem no. 1... the no. 2 and their biggest hurdle is THEIR PRICING!!!! Here in the Philippines, The Xperia X (with SD 650) is priced at 29,999 Philippine Peso (roughly $637.96 USD)... Which is the same price of the Huawei P9... Need I explain more how they are a sinking ship... The only thing that would be the most appealing in the X line up is the XA which I can say is better than the J5 But needs to be priced lower so it could really destroy the competition

In India and China they just can't compete with Xiaomi, One Plus, Zuk and the plentiful of the likes. Sony just doesn't have a good value proposition neither has any tangible way to justify the premium, hence the people who DO buy premium goods in those markets don't end-up buying from them.

As for the US, after releasing crippled versions of international models, did anyone really believe Sony was taking this market seriously?

Sony always make budget phones for India and price it trice than actual value.but companies like lenovo(inclds moto),vevo, xioami, letv, oppo, nexibit robin, one pluse etc... Make far better phones at lower price with better build and durability.even Samsung do care Indian market.Sony actually needs good employees with great tactics. Pick some students from IIM.I think employees in sony are fools. Android has great market in India and chaina.if you can't realise that then all best for a floap history of a great company.

I think it is because the designs of their phone are not great - reason why people dont buy them.

come with confidents but a bit high price, and no longer have any low-end phone on demand. like samsung!

As expected, people are now smarter. They will focused to country that still believe in japan quality.
