        No Win Mobile Anymore!!

        Cheap copy of apple policy!

Lets go HTC again (in my case) but lets go Android from now on!

This has to be a joke doesn't it!!?? Somehow I fear not! This seems nothing more than an updated HD2 running WM7 which cripples it from the start. No support for Micro SD cards is pathetic and for me, a deal breaker. All the hype and long overdue to be a dismal disaster from the start! HTC and MS do not deserve to win with this!

Anonymous, 24 Sep 2010WP7 has no future, at least HTC thinks that. Maybe this is so similar to HD2 because HD2 was built to run 7 but released with 6.5 as a kludge because 7 is sooooo late....

I am so upset that Microsoft are going with a policy of no removable SD cards and then allow just 8Gb on the device, i expect that kind of BS from Apple ....
I rely on my micro SD cards for moving movies and music on and off my device and without it I will probably stick with Android.
I was a windows mobile user from when I bought my first i-mate k-Jam (2002?) to last year (when i switched to Android) I hope that they miss me....
PS given the spec the should be a winphone 7 upgrade for the HD2 - of HTC are really shitting on their customers IMHO...

I hope this is not true. HTC and Windows, please give us something new. PLEASE.

Quite frankly if after all the waiting all we get is a glorifed HD2 which lacks the ability to even install a Micro SD card they can forget it! Esepcially since I just bought a 32GB card. Can we also forget Micro SD SDXC cards too!? A roadmap to 2TB and this phone cant even manage an external card at all! I ahd herad this was a limitation of the WM7 O/S. If so they can forget it! I will movbe to soemthing like the Dell Streak running Android.

I had high hopes of WM7 and new hardware but this phone disappoints on both fronts based on what I have heard thus far.

I've just got dissapointed when I read these news, how HTC can dare to make smth. like that, I have now an HTC HD2, I'm happy alot with it & enjoying it, but I was just curious to see what will be the next HTC HD series, and now I saw HD7 which is a quite annoying name by the way, they didn't even released HD3 & they jumped straight to HD7 xDD, quite a stupid thing but nevermind, the specs are dissapointing alot, this phone is almost the same HD2, with just a crappy WP7 on it & 720p video recoring, the rest is nothing new... and by the way I think that WP 7 is so embarassing with it's "3 must only have buttons" !..

PS: Hope this isn't real, hope there will be some official new with some real specs, becouse I just can't believe this ! .. it just passed a year since the HD2 has been released, so the HD3 will be a 2010 near 2011 Device, so it must be smth. better !

For real Zune users, this is a dream. But with only 8gb worth of memory, thats a downer. i i have like 60gb worth of music. they should have gave it at least 32gb!!! Hope the GPS is good out the box.

WinMo 7 UI Boring, uninspiring! No removable microSD you got to be kidding me. MS for doing a Ford ? when GM said in any color I want? And MS has lost significant market share? Given how long it takes for MS to release WinMo updates as well. HTC are fixed with Telstra in Aust and do not value clients want clients with other carriers. Technical specs of HD 3 released so far are backwards and obsolete at best...Rather get the Samsung Galaxy S instead. MS, HTC you have lost me and I cannot hold back our orders any longer!

I don't like these Htc phones they just seem cheap.

As for the spec rules by Microsoft I welcome it because everyone will benefit in the end. I am a android user and while I welcome a open system it has been a pain in butt when it comes to updates to the point where even if you have the same phone but on a different network it still can be slow with to many bugs. At least with WM7 everyone should get updates around the same time.

Just a thought but I think all these phones only have 8GB for a reason maybe Microsoft are going to introduce cloud based game play so storage would only be used for scorers and remembering place in the game as well other small apps. Which may be in keeping with the zune pass.

I could be wrong so please don't verbally kill me
