The Tier 1 brands have very compelling finished h/w and s/w which couldn't be beaten by these companies and forget about s/w!

What is the 200$ you talking about people? After taxes it's gonna be way more expensive.
The Redmi Note 3 was until some weeks before, at over 200$ in Chinese e-shops.
This one will be more expensive and I find this normal, as it is by far the most premium Redmi until now (however I personally will remain at simple Redmi line, cause it covers my needs).

If they can make such great phone for so few money, I wonder what a beast they could create if they could make a phone costing 700€. I'm sure it would beat every other flagship on the market.

I would pay even 300$ for this xiaomi redmi pro :) 200$ is very cheap for the performance we get with this phone.
