iPhone sales drop for second straight quarter; India a rare bright spot

While overall iPhone sales were down 15% Y-o-Y in fiscal Q3, sales in India are climbing - an increase of 51% in the first three quarters of this fiscal year.

People are more than ready to buy an iphone in my college.I have seen people holding a newly bought 4s,5,5s now.It is very clear that they only want to show it off.I said we are having more FREEDOM with money now.10% of 133cr is still a huge base of potential costumers. And people were less interested for an iphone 3-4years back.

              This is an investor's dream, really. The iPhone 7 wont do well either and Apple shares will drop even further. But just watch what happens when the 2017 iPhone comes out. I'm already licking my chops.

                I'm not sure you understand what this means, this has nothing to do with getting near to another iphone, these results are year-on-year. which means people are either smarter or they became really poor...

                    Mega sales, then slowing sales as we get closer to the next iPhone launch. It's been 9 friggin years, and analysts still don't understand this pattern? Lol and they're paid boatloads for this stuff by the way haha.

The same goes for Nokia which also doesnt suit electronic gadgets though as a fruit, apple is my favorite. I think this 'apple company' should start making apple fruit products instead of gadgets.

                              Big flop. Zero changes. Only software is updated each year. Same iphone. No wonder its drop.

                                Well blame 6S, it flopped. No major changes and no one will upgrade to costlier one for nothing and new consumers will go for 6!
                                But I think 7 will sell alot considering people upgrading from 6 like me. Also, Pro version will attract too

                                      Indians love the name more than the product.They still prefer a Nokia over an iphone.Now they think it's cool to have an apple while many people are going sensible around the world.It is the popularity that matters more than the specs.Contrary to public's views,we indian are having more money now.
