Unfortunately, I didn't get my Sony yet and I've canceled my order. It's almost 2 weeks since I received the confirmation for delivery. Too bad, I kind of liked it.

SONY Always trying to lunch an Amazing Smartphones to the customers and they did this time, if you think to APPLE IPhone from 2 years they didn't change the design IPhone 6,6s and 7 but everyone saying that IPhone is a good Smartphone but they are nothing what you will do with 720p resolution and 2GB RAM and if you think to the price they are the most expensive Smartphone in the all world but they're nothing ...Apple think that we have banks in houses and we are printing money for Apple Smartphones...

No, the battery is too small! I used to buy Sony phones in the past because they used to have significatley better battery life! I doubt this will be the case here! Good bye Sony !

Has better screen to body ratio than the S7 (not as good as the S7 edge though), so I don't understand all the bezel complaints. Especially when it has front facing stereo speakers.

Ridiculous that they still produce phones with huge bezels like that. You could probably fit a 5.5inch screen in that frame. Even phones with a physical home button (fingerprint built in) below the screen have smaller bezels. Why have empty space at the top and bottom? No excuses for this rubbish design.

This phone would be incredible if it had 4GB or more of RAM.
I don't understand why they have continued to use 3GB since the Xperia Z2. It's been so long. I would literally scrap all the improvements made on the XZ for a standard xperia Z5 with 4GB of RAM

Thick bezels and ram of a midranger (more redraws = slow phone by comparison).
I'm not even sure how Sony still survives, their phones are as underwhelming so consistently at this points that I'm not even sure if they break even.

Maybe with a 2K panel and £100 off the RRP plus may be stretch that screen to 5.5" simply by losing some of the bezel top and bottom. Not a criticism, just a fact of efficient design....and that is from a long term Sony fan. It pains me but unless Sony gets it act together, it will soon become a footnote in the history of mobile phones.....would someone at Sony HQ get a grip...please!

Truth is more is not always necessarily better. Samsung uses large ram space primarily bcoz Touchwiz is highly customized. Xperia Ui on the other hand is close to stock, so it doesn't need much memory to run. Another reason why oems are using very large ram is MARKETING. They have succeeded in making Ppl believe more is always better. It's all about placebo effect.

for example : some people are busy or heavy using so, they need more ram,
but, one the other side, another people don't need much ram, as
they use them for browsing , reading or gaming.
At all , more ram is good for the two sides that someone needs more and
otherone don't need more.
and, don't forget that system software uses some of ram and some apps as facebook uses up to 480mb of ram and some games use from 20 to 600mb of ram.
+Conclusion : More RAM is good for everyone but less is not good for some people.
