Oculus warns Gear VR users against using the headset with Samsung Galaxy Note7

It is nice to see Oculus also emphasizing on safety first. You all be careful not to use a Note7 on your face. Btw, by now no one should have a Note7 in their hands except for China. All of you should have returned it to Samsung many days ago since the recall.

that cr@ppy battery can explode anytime, it can be in the next day, next month, or next year.
it can happen to other people too, not just the owners.
it can explode while their kids/wife is currently using the phone.

I used my vr once and I noticed b how hot the phone was. The VR cover was off. I haven't had any charger related heart issue some I use the wireless charger.
I'll return the phone before I use VR again.

Yes, its unsafe device, but only 35 explotions from 2 million devices which makes the chance very very very low. though there is a risk but people should not worry too much.
