Sure, Samsung can release it sooner than expected at their will. But Samsung, please, don't rush it

Haven't they learnt their lesson yet that rushing a product is a recipe for disaster? Why would they want to rush their next flagship one more time? To make up for the current fiasco?
They better make sure next flagship won't turn out to be another heart-breaking blunder.

      nice one

KaP, 15 Sep 2016Samsung Galaxy S5 is water resistant and also has a removal... moreyes s5 active and s5, but submerging it on water is not good unlike those phones with sealed battery they have better performance in preventing water in. Anyway this is not the issue. Samsung brand is at big question here. People will start thinking that it is not a good brand because of the incident while apple is laughing in their own backyard because of the incident. This 2 companies are mortal enemies. Now apple fans will bash samsung and of course some not so loyal customers will agree and sale will start to become not good.

Non removable batteries is not an issue. The issue here is a half baked premium product which is sold in the market for a crazy price tag. It should be perfect inside and out before you sell them because people who buy it has a high expectations because of the price tag. So if I am a consumer how would you convince me to buy your product at a high price compared to a cheaper brand with almost the same functionalities with your product and only a little trade off's compared to it?They should checked it not blame the battery manufacturer. It's a lame excuse.

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2016Rushing things was what caused this problem. Are they serious? Not really. Enforcing programmed obsolesce (the non-removable battery) did it.
they wanted to make the battery replacement harder for user, so, when it degrades, to stimulate purchase of a new smartphone.

But now it's them who's suffering, as the non-removable battery means they can't easily replace the batteries themselves. This multi-million recall costs are totally not necessary. They are only ocurring because Samsung has enforced the non-removable battery themselves.

Galaxy S8 will be released before end of 2016 to replace Note 7. It has exactly the similar spec like in Note 7 minus the S-Pen.
