if they tell me I have to settle for s7 and return note7, they have a lawsuit coming. I paid 1200$ right when it came out the first day at best buy.

I have the s7 edge and it's by far the best phone i've ever had...but samsung really need to stop releasing 20 phones every year. Keep it simple - J, A and S series (and perhaps a non-exploding Note series as well)...that's it...
Until they learn to do that, people of lesser cognitive abilities, will buy some Samsung Core Prime with $50 and 2 years later an iphone 6 for example and will conculde that apple is so much better...people do that all the time; instead of comparing high end devices, they compare a high end apple phone with a low end samsung one and of course apple will win in that scenario...

They let you return it for a full refund. You could also exchange it for any other Samsung device and they'd refund the difference. They gave us a $25 credit on our bill in addition the first time around. Not sure how it's going to play out this time, but it's probably similar.

SD 821 is not much different from 820. But a person who wants equivalent or better will always choose 821. Plus price tag of mi is very attractive for we Indians (most of us) who look for value for money. That's why Mi 5s siblings will be preferred.plus dual sim setup is added advantage ( there are people who want 3,4 sim phones too)
One+ has good fanbase, but it is 820 not 821.hence may get second preference. But Honor 8 maybe preferred due to dual camera setup.
Those with slightest understanding of android will opt for Nexus or Pixel siblings.
This has been my logic for the Note 7 options in India.But it's only logic, cannot say how it turns out in reality.
Note lineup has attracted professionals and Showoff lovers( Nova rich people status symbol) alike in India.

4Real, 11 Oct 2016In quality sony is ahead of samsung In materials u mean not quality, I have dropped for example j7 s5 and mostly It's been nothing or even screen shaterring but with my z3 screen comerely blacked out from waste height drop , Sony always heats up always ! Samsung and many others don't in general, Sony always gets u cheap accessories in the box , high prices, late updates and most of all cameras with idiotic software to mess up all the great hardware that's sony
