    Sometimes people are really stupid.

To you dummies who are saying that the Note phone is over, that it will no more be... you are stupid.

You don't throw the baby out with the bath water!!!

The Note series is an amazing niche in the market of smartphones. It is what set Samsung apart from all other manufacturers, especially Apple.
It is what has drawn so much attention to Samsung in the past few years.

There have been 6 devices in the Note series. They were all awesome, even the Note 7. Although there was clearly some dropping the ball at the factories with the Note 7, it doesn't erase all the years of the other 5 Note devices.

So people, don't be so silly!!! Think about it!!! All Samsung has to do is change the name. I think the name "Note" is lame anyway. It's old. It's tired. It's used. It's time to think up a new name and use it.

The s-pen is here to stay. Samsung has invested millions of dollars into s-pen technology. It would be a terrible business decision to abandon the Note series. The name yes, the type of device, no way!

The ONLY way to make people forget about the Note 7, is to make an awesome successor that doesn't blow up, with a new name, and YES AN IN-BODY S-PEN.

So stop saying that the Note series is dead. It is not! Don't be ridiculous!!!

it says ALL NOTE 7. Why they didnt accept my Note 7 ? I buy it in Singapore and I want to return it but SAMSUNG Philippines wont accept it.

Speculation suggests Mr. Koh and the team involved in Note 7 development would be dissolved and fired.

I'm keeping my note 7. I been a Samsung consumer for many years. Never had a problem with any of my devices that's in my house is all about Samsung, from TV's to my last robot vacuum that I can control with my phone. I know that panic and the phones that real caught on fire are a concern for Samsung and companies, plus consumers, but I have the original note 7 and didn't exchange it because the recall. I'm really happy with my device, didn't have the overheating problem,I have my phone in a safe place just in case. Like me; others need to stand up and help Samsung by supporting the note 7 if you not scare of the device. I know that the company is taking this steps because they care for the safety of their customers and because of it I Thank them for this amazing offer. I think is foul play in some cases and hope Samsung bring the truth to the light and found the real issue. Not saying nothing about nobody that have damaged to their property or themselves, but it's seems really fishi... Well like me others need to open up!!!!

I believe Samsung will win the user trust back. I also believe that Samsung will happen again with other negligence because of profits matter.

A big NO to Samsung. Better to buy other phones than listen friends and buy laggy crap.

well, they can win back trust if their phone don't see a single fire issue next 2 to 3 years. but im still not convinced to note 8. s8 is trustable but ill wait a month and observe

Mkdc, 14 Oct 2016I read somewhere that note 7 projected total lifetime sales... moreThat might have been the plan, but most of those units were still in the process of manufacturing\planning to do so. Since the recent mess, all of those have been cancelled. No matter what, at this point it is a huge financial blow to the company. They can take it, but they will feel the burn (pun intended).

Veil Gates , 14 Oct 2016Omg... Nokia? Man, you are so drunk. It's not the 90s anymore. Believe it or not, I don't care, but Nokia has fans in every corner of the world. If they come back strong, they will shake up the mobile world. A lot of people are already interested simply because of that sentiment for the brand.
