Its profit and revenue is 1/10 of samsun... moresamsung and lg is cheap!!!! this is the main reason of their sales success. compare the price of a 40" bravia with a samsung or lg lcd with the same diagonal and functions. or compare a sony hifi mini system with a samsung or lg .koreans are all the time,at anything with 30% procent cheaper. like honda legend with kia opirus. korean make good lcd and beautiful piano black plastic,but they have no know-how,no tradition,no pedigree to make real hifi audio oe video tools. after they put a good lcd panel,they are foolin' around with the rest of the functions:menu structure,conectivity,fiability,sound quality.
i have a samsung hd camera and baterry dies after 8 months and the image is unfocused at the corners. very very bad optics!!!
i have a samsung 40" lcd with no headphone output snd audio output!!!
i have a minisistem lg wich is very beautiful and powerful but it sounds like a cow screaming
i buyed all this corean trash because it was cheap and i was fooled by the design and picture quality
never buy korean trash!!! beleive me,i have it,and now i'm selling all at quarter of the initial price

I see that Sony Co. was good time in past but future - SAMSUNG!
I wish for Nokia improve display quality and OS so Nokia and Samsung can beat up any mobile phone manufacturer.
BTW i in love with Nokia for good quality, functionality.
And for all mobile phones manufacturers if they wish to be so popular then please copy all the best features (from Nokia, Samsung, HTC, Apple) and avoid all the worst features (from other less popular handset).
You must copy, from:
Nokia - from Nokia take handset quality/functionality/specifications/
Samsung - display quality/brightnes
HTC - powerful precesor
Apple - Operating System
You must awoid, from:
Nokia - Operating system (icl.handset freezing)
Samsung - To be honest at that moment i don't know
HTC - Bad photo and video camera quality, no secondary camera
Apple - ALL RESTRICTIONS!
Attension please (FOR ALL)!
For all mobile phone manufacturers need take more attension for video and photo camera pics quality and you all must keep like a example Nokia N8 camera quality coz in a phone market this Nokia got best photo camera.
Also phone price must be more reasonable! But not too high!
AND THEN MAKE ONE PAWERFULL WITH ALL SPECIFICATIONS PHONE BUT NOT MANY DIFERENT KIND OF SHIT.

nokia, 01 Dec 2010u are wrong nokia is leading in screen as clear black displ... morenokia never produce lcd. guys there are only a few lcd manufacturers on the market. lcd on htc is not made by htc and so is n8 and iphone4. samsung and lg are leaders since sharp and hitachi lost the price battle. toshiba comes second.

samsung and lg know to make lcd panels and that's all. their lcd/plasma fails at menu structure,zoom options,conectivity. i have a samsung toy lcd and have it has no jacks for audio out,no headphone output!!! unbelieveable!!! bad speakers and many minus things. just a beautiful plastic toy with a very good contrast

Still, I think people look just a bit too blindly at pure resolution numbers. Most people would probably agree to the CBD over SAMOLED if the resolutions were the same.

There wasn't any... moreWell yes, PenTile sucks, but even if you count that, the resolution is still slightly higher than nHD on Nokia phones. Also, they mention a green tint I never noticed on a Super AMOLED. If anything, AMOLEDs have problems with blue tint.

as far as mobile display technology is concerned i think, is quite advanced....Super Amoled is unmatched by any other....manufacters should focus on more efficient batteries....

In fact Galaxy S actually has a noticable lag even with the latest update. I also love the new GPS app that simply resets GPS settings, trying to fix the fact that many people are still experiencing ridiculously slow GPS locks.
This is exactly the same as the RGBG PenTile cheat Samsung uses on SAMOLED displays. As long as it the resolution looks good on spec sheet, people will buy it. Who cares if the actual performance doesn't match. You did know that Nokia C6-01 actually has better blue and red pixel resolution than Galaxy S or Wave?
