my first Nokia is L625, I paid because of Windows Phone, and long time a go only buy Siemens & Ericksson. And my best experience still with Sony Ericksson P1i

Well with Blackberry out of the hardware game, now having others manufacturer designs for their skinned version of Android. And now Nokia coming back also with Android, Google has pretty much killed off all the competing OS'. No more BB10, Windows Phone is dying, Nokia doesn't have Meego or anything in the works anymore. Seems like all the manufacturers are falling in line under the Android banner to battle the iPhone. Good fight.

FIH will make Nokia feature phones this year, while HMD Global will make Nokia smartphones for 2017.

I hope they pick up the Nexus philosophy Google has now abandoned and make great looking devices again. Samsung looking phones but more reliable.

They never sold any of the patents except a few smartphone related.. what they sold was mobile division .. which comprised of factories and sales channel and the work staff related to windows and feature phone... they retained their R and D facility and renamed it to Nokia Technologies.. which is selling the OZO Vr camera currently
Nokia has officially announced already they will be coming with android smartphones.. please check their website...

Even if Nokia comes back , they have lot to catch up with the latest technology and user expectations. Can't wait to see the comeback though!
