If we not talking about phone, then Kodak used oled in their camera(Kodak LS633) since 2003. See how old oled had existed and how Apple failed to adopt it.

Question!
Thought this article was about Iphone getting a OLED display next year. Not about if it is better or worse than the phone's using Android system. I personally use a Galaxy s7 edge. Not because it is better or worse than other phone's. I use it because I like it. Most of my friends use Samsung, Iphone, Nexus or Huawei. I am not trying to convince them that my phone is better or worse and they do not try and convince me. Because we all have different taste and needs when it comes to phones like everything else.
So back to my question, why do you care so much about what other people use?
Get the phone you like and let other people use what they like without stupid comments
about something that is not up to any other people than the one that likes it.

iPhone oled screen is from Samsung surplus warehouse using 2-3 yrs old pentile tech while the next galaxy S8 is using the latest true RBG technology. It's Samsung exclusive no one get it.

Switch to Basic Mode for accurate color(non saturated). They also have Standard Mode, Movie Mode, Photo Mode and etc. Just some knowledge for future oled iphone owners.
