Always loved my LG phones. Had LG2 for more then 2 years... Did everything I needed to do. Changed lately for LG4... and again, love the upgraded machine 😋. Works for me as real tablet - but for the screen size. it was only natural I hoped to see a LG tabblet with same features?
As fan of ThinkPad - got Lenovo Yoga tablet with cool rear tab to keep it at the angle. And here comes the LG with it's tab. I keep double tapping on the screen to close or open...

Do not patronise LG products. They are known for bootloop issues with no support fron lg. I had bad customer experience from them. Save yourselves from headaches...

AnonD-312515, 19 Dec 2016The tablet market is dead, do people need more proof on this? *very much alive. See the post above it. Android tablets are dead because Google wants them dead (so that their sh**ty Chrome OS gets more of a chance)

Anonymous, 19 Dec 2016Tablets are alive and well as shown by the rise of 2in1s. ... moreOnce a while I would rather step under the rock. The tech world is sometimes too ridiculous. I wouldn't say Surface Pro an explosion at all. Its like a tiny firework in the tablet industry. But that is windows. We talking about android here. I actually see more people opt to buy an ipad. Even the android lovers buy an ipad. There simply no better option if you want a flagship tablet for casual usage. Surface pro or any wimdows tablet is too professional and formal looking to carry around. People would think you carrying it for work purpose or think you are a businessman.

Julliard, 19 Dec 2016Tablet market is dying. You could tell by the way how most ... moreTablets are alive and well as shown by the rise of 2in1s. It's android manufacturers that gave up on it, mostly due to the incistence of Google to keep their mobile OS (android) and "desktop" OS (Chrome OS) separate, basically making android manufacturers unable to compete on the 2in1 space.

It's as if Google does not want the tablet segement to succeed. Both Apple and Microsoft make a pretty penny from it though. Don't take Google's inability/unwillingNess to compete as a sign of a dying market. You must be living under a rock if you didn't see the explosion of the Surface Pro series

You could tell by the way how most manufacturer stop releasing tablet so much unlike 5 years ago when it was all the rage. Samsung Note Tab is dead. Their Galaxy Tab S is the last powerful tab they made. Tab S2 seems like a downgrade. This LG G Pad III is more LTE oriented. Their tagline is "Enjoy LTE, Anytime, Anywhere". And its not even a flagship tablet.

let's see what will the Samsung tab S3 be like, maybe finally a powerful tablet? maybe with a good proper camera? good speakers? maybe a tablet that can replace a smartphone?
