4.6-inch Xiaomi Mi S reportedly on the way with Snapdragon 821, 4GB of RAM

21 December 2016
It's been a while since we've seen a true flagship-grade small smartphone, and this may just be the next one.

it's a good one , but a little adjust is needed, the battery is to be increased to 2800MAH, the the nemometre power consumption to be 7nm,both NFC,Infra pot,NLD should be given to it, to make it interesting, almost bezeless. If this done, I will be the first to buy this smartphone

Great news, but the problem is by the time this comes out, these specs will no longer be flagship material.

JS80, 26 Dec 2016If it was anyone other than Xiaomi, it'd be most welcome. B... moreno sense what you say, muiu works awesome, after tested it, i think is the best rom ever,
also you can root any xiaomi and put whatherver you want, so whats the problem?

If it was anyone other than Xiaomi, it'd be most welcome. But MIUI-infested non-rommable junk can rot in hell, no matter how small and enticing it would otherwise be.

The option to buy a 4.6 inch screen (smaller = better) is more than welcome. Since my Sony Xperia Z1 compact is at the end of it's capabilities it is hard to find a new small-sized - high specs device.

Jingle bells, Jingle bells !! If xiaomi does manage to work this out, it would be a christmas gift come true. A sub5-inch phone with at least a 4.6 screen and a sleeker form factor will be a hit with a niche group of people. With a target segment ranging from professionals to businessmen such an instrument will be lapped up even if it is priced as a premium compact. CHEERS.

I don't care about price, I don't care about thickness, as long as it less than 12mm, just make battery better and I'll buy it.

wow, I think that 4 gb ram, 128 gb storage and 1280p display is too op. I would prefer a lower spec so can cut down cost and battery usage and make phone more affordable. To me, 2gb ram, 32gb storage and 720p display is more than enough for me. Currently using mi 2s,, I hope this news is true.

This is definitely the most interesting phone Xiaomi has announced in years since the Mi2(S). This is the only one I would consider getting, but if they made a Mix S, take all my money!

Really good news, it's shame people can't buy small, but capable Android phone. I sold my Droid Mini because I didn't like its camera, but I miss it a lot. I love my Xiaomi Mi4c, but I would prefer it with smaller dimensions.
Actually 4.6 inch and 128 mm is not a small device, but it is OK.
