I really like the small formfactor with high end specs and majority of the audience were eagerly waiting for the same it's good to see somebody xiaomi is listening to us...... Kudos guys

Maybe less people want it but im waiting for this. Hopefully back button can shift to left side. Replaced my z1 compact.

The Redmi 3S is a 5 incher with 8.5mm thickness.
The Mi S would be at least 10mm thick mit 4100 mAh.
Never ever in such a small device!
2600 mAh are more then enough for a 4.6" dwarf.

I like the idea of high end compact phones, most 5 inch or smaller phones tend to be budget devices. However, I have tried the Sony Xperia X Compact and found it just a bit too small. I would like to see Xiaomi come out with a high end phone between 4.7 and 5 inches. I have heard that the Mi 6 might be 5.5 inches. If so, then a high end 5 inch phone with slim bezels would be ideal and wouldn't compete against their budget line, the Redmi series. I would consider buying a 4.7 or 4.8 inch phone but would hesitate over a 4.6 inch one. I have recently bought their Redmi 3S Prime with a global ROM and it is already reasonably high end compared to a lot of budget phones that have crap specs.

Hopefully it competes well with other compact smartphones. Most major brands offer these compacts. By definition, they all have small battery capacity.

2600 mah only i'm hoping 4100 mah...When Redmi 3s can get 4100 mah why not this...will definitely go for it if it comes with 4100 mah battery and expandable memory or atleast 64gb for under 30k

1080p will be overkill for a 4.6 incher and requires more battery. A 720p display would be enough so that price could be lowered too

So both rear & front cams would be of "Ultrapixel" varieties, courtesy of HTC's naming.
