Pity because the Z is THE most beautiful phone ever made (has to be seen and held), and the snap on modules robust and well designed. But the camera on the Z is not so good, and sales of Apple and Samsung phones prove that a good camera makes all the difference.

Lenovo look here. Make a phone with:
1- Snpadragon 835 in june
2- Have the same design as the Motorola Nexus 6. (thin bezels plus stereo speakers.)
3- Make it 5.5 inch
4- Add 4000 mah battery
5- Headphone jack....
6- IR blaster
Price it £450 (release at the same time as OnePlus 4). Are companies that dumb?

Completely clueless decisions by lenovo is what drowning Motorola. Firing original peoples behind Motorola team, doing away with compact phones, only lifeline constant quick update is fading away now. Motorola became popular again just because of Google. Those charms are now going away so the brand

Lenovo killed Motorola. Motorola used to be very uniq with their devices. Just look for Moto x pure. Lenovo should look for previous Motorola devices... They were amazing, and stock android was perfect. Fast updates is a huge thumbs up. Keep the price low, push high specs and make midranger model with huge battery and you will be OK. But lenovo is just Chinese. Motorola name is a lot different and I really thought that Motorola is a lot more professional than lenovo...

Moto x termination is their biggest mistake, the last iteration of the line, the Style; was one of the best designed phones, not forgetting the 2nd gen of the Moto X, if only they updated that line with better hardware and make them a little bit lighter and thinner it would easily be a far more appealing phone, a product that would differentiate itself from the crowd, but betting on modular phone with expensive modules that partially solves a "need"?
Why would I get the JBL speaker? why not getting a full dedicated one, that I can use with different devices ?
Why the Hasselblad mod? why not a dedicated camera if I need it?
The mods try to enhance further the phones capabilities but to an extent and extent which a dedicated device would more completely solve your need.

They are having it with Xiaomi and other Bonnie's (a little partisan bony as a mascot). Motorola whose just a ticket in to US as Lenovo is still much more world wide represented & they didn't even try to get Motorola to their other markets. I am afraid if things regarding this don't change soon Motorola is again going down (not a first time & not much left of a big "M" any more anyway).

Here's a thought Lenovo: Moto G is Motorola's most successful line ever. How about concentrating on that, instead of gimping the G line trying to push those modular contraptions no one needs or wants?
