Here with indian variant of RN3, which got a new update today weighing 107 MB Versioned 8.1.6.0.. Nothing much on the change-logs though.
P.S : I am bit surprised why such intermediate update if 8.2 is planned for RN3 on Feb 20!!

Tony, 16 Feb 2017Do you think we'll get nougat on note 3 pro?Yes. Redmi Note 3 pro or Snapdragon version will get Nougat update. RN3 Snapdragon is a popular device how come Xiaomi want to abandon its so soon. Even some older device will get Nougat update, its just matter of time so be patient.

May, 16 Feb 2017Ya exactly...my redmi note 4g (1st gen) still gets update. ya when i bought my fone it was miui 5 but now it has crossed to miui 8.2.But can someone tell me how to update my fone to lollipop atleast with miui rom inside ?

Anonymous, 16 Feb 2017I agree. Little to no Android updates, though :(If you buy a mi phone, don't whine about android updates. That's not how it works. They roll out features with miui updates. App permissions was there in Lollipop for mi phones.
And redmi note had a mtk chipset(still runs on kitkat due to the chip) , would any other phone get updates till date with all the features?
