LG G6 will launch at close to $800 in S. Korea, so much for 'value proposition'

27 February 2017
The G6 arrives in Korea on March 10, price is set at KRW 899,800 - as much as the V20 launched at in the Fall.

If Samsung prices S8 siblings close to LG G6, then surely LG will loose the market.

After debacle of Note7, Samsung will ensure S8 siblings as no compromise device and with latest SD 835. And if price is similar, then it's obvious that a buyer would opt for Samsung SD 835 device.

Well hopefully this time around LG has fixed its biggest flaws; Bootloop Issues that affected their previous G series devices

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the LG G6 in South Korea will have the Quad DAC and wireless charging while other countries won't have those two features, right?

For $100 less, the XZs offers a slightly underclocked CPU and bigger bezel, but with superior camera hardware, and overall smartphone. Is LG even trying? Not to mention the lack of stereo speakers that they are still lacking for freaking 4 years already

If it's not selling well I'm sure it will get a price cut.

Better to get the P10 Plus for that price. Better specifications and it's $50 cheaper.
Go cry in a corner, haters. Ain't nobody got time for your ''Chinese phones are that and that'' and ''Huawei is this and that''.

Just wait 8-12 months and the price will be $300.
