i hope they figure this out to get it in the US. I am still using my old Nokia phone with buttons and a qwerty keyboard. I only text or talk anyway. It would be nice to get a new phone though, instead of just refurbished old ones. Why do phone makers here refuse to acknowledge the existence of people who Don't want smart phones??

Follow by France, Belgium, Sweden & Switzerland soon within just a few year." I also did mentioned 2025.

I got none of the facts wrong. I already know Telenor will be doing it until 2025 as I had said 'within just a few year'. Read again what I wrote. I dont want to write lengthy essay like this so I make it short for the previous comments. Since you want to know what I know here you go. Switzerland's Swisscom will be doing it by 2021. France and Belgium are still to be considered-which I assumed the following few years. The rest of the country I had listed are confirmed to get it done this year.

In Sweden the same carrier said that they don't have any current plans to close the GSM network and that they are modernising their existing GSM network. Also the other scandinavian operators have been upgrading their GSM networks in recent years.

Also almost all M2M traffic in Sweden such as electricity meter readings go over GSM.

So it seems I'm not the one thats not up-to-date.

For 2 years similar sort of devices were churned out by "Nokia" (105,215,216,222 and 230). The 3310 is a continuation of this but with a bit of nostalgia exploitation for marketing purposes by the newly formed company that is licenced to use Nokia brand.

Now why not team up with Jolla and make an N9-like device.

DaXiong, 02 Mar 2017European countries will not shut down GSM in just a few years. It will and had been confirmed to be done by September of this year. Not all but will start with a few countries in Europe. Maybe you are a little late on the news. It is to free up the bands and gives way for more 4G network expansion and future use of 5G that is already on trial in UK.

Just like when Hilary Clinton lost to Obama, it wasn't her fault. Then she loses to Trump, still not her fault. It's everything else at fault but her.

Same thing for WP/WM. It keeps losing and losing, year after year, now decade after decade... but it's always something else.

AnonD-276592, 02 Mar 2017This will be a hype like Pokemon GO.Actually, imo that's Nokia's intention. They made this phone purely for their brand marketing, reminding people that they are still the "same" Nokia, and "oh look we also have Android phones now."

Of course, trying to induce people to pay ~$200-300 for an SD430 phone is another story.

world, like the U.S. and Europe,
but rather is aimed at places like
                                      Southeast Asia, South America, and
Africa, where tens of millions of

                                      smartphone, it's quite possible
they'll consider a Nokia model be-

                                      brands. If you seriously think
