Nokia is negotiating with carriers over usage of 850 MHz and 1900 MHz bands.

My advice, dont buy 2G phone anymore as its network is quickly phased out since last year. The longest you can use 2G phone is until 2025 when 2G network all over the world had shut down.

Nokia 3310 (2017) will not work in US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, & Singapore as they all shutting down 2G this year. Follow by France, Belgium, Sweden & Switzerland soon within just a few year. Unless Nokia able to negotiate with each country to get an alternative bands to work with their new phone.

Pathetic attempt of getting people to buy device based on nostalgia. Nokia as we know it doesnt exist and thats it.

Sorry Nokia but OG 3310 looks better than the new 3310.

This new Nokia 3310 appears shiny like a babies toy. How I wish Nokia retained all dimensions/ aesthetics and just made it thinner.

I appreciate the effort to retain the iconic 'U' design. But it looks uglier / less classy/ more toyish looking than the original 3310. Only from design standpoint, il take the Original anytime.

A phone that cannot connect to networks is pretty much garbage to my mind, but as you say each to their own. Never mind though it's Nokia and it's a 3310 thus ends any logical reasoning.

Too bad but only few networks in US still have 2G networks.

I hope they do a 3g version so it works down under.
Great to see its actually out there but yeah.

They should have used 3g but as for aesthetics of the phone I think it is a fantastic retake. Imagine this size screen back then. So now it's larger, modernized, funky, fun looking, long lasting, basically very practical and overall cool. Hope they get the band sorted.

A dual band 2G radio is being phased out pretty much globally. Most phone buyers globally already dont have access to such frequencies, in a year or two they will be rare. This phone was designed for calls and texts which will render it useless.

Yuck. look how glossy it is, makes it look like a toy. The original was never like that. So many things wrong with this.
