    Wow...
I was asking you why do you hide this issue since probably day 1or 2 it was discovered. Not a word on GSM arena who normally makes a big deal of every scratch. The support forum was already full by complaints by that time. I was following this issue closely as I was going to buy Pixel. Unfortunately, till the day support didn't do anything to resolve the issue. They collect information from users, they replace broken phones, they probably working on something, but the issue is still there. And it might indeed be only 1% of all the phones, but who wants to get into that 1% and have all those issues? There were cases when people got malfunctional phone two or three times in a row. And imagine if you bought it abroad as many people did - bye bye support. Will they have to travel to get their phones replaced?

This has happened to less than 1% of the Pixels sold, I mean heck even 1% is a huge number of affected devices if true, but no one really knows the actual number of how many devices were/are actually affected. At that price point these sort of issues should never have happened anyway!

Not a single problem on mine in two and a half months so far, still love the phone to core. Hilarious to see the jealous and dumb people commenting here anyway.

This is what happens when you have Hi-Tech Crap as the OEM. I had issues with multiple HTC and ASUS products before. Never again with either junk. Taiwan's QC might even be worse than China. HTC might appeal to certain consumers with its design, build quality, and audio quality but you will run into problems the same way ASUS' allure is their pricing but has many defects.

Google should've just let Huawei brand their name somewhere instead of wanting to brand the Pixel exclusively to themselves. Huawei has been making great designs since the Ascend P6 in 2013. They are of better quality in the long run than the Taiwanese crap from HTC and ASUS. Huawei is a better manufacturer than Hate This Company.

HTC is overrated by their fanbase thanks to some metal design that dents and overheats easily. They have run out of new ideas in four years. I would rather have a Samsung or Apple (both brands I am NOT really fond of) than go back to HTC's poor QC, low iFixit ratings, and bad customer service.

Thanking my Lucky Goldstar to save the day.

I'm using Google pixel and my phone are okay working perfect do not have problems

Still people making phones calls? Still using mobile for actually attending calls instead of headphones or Bluetooth Headset? Not that I am trying to undermine any potential Microphone issues. But I have not had this so far!

I actually wanted a Pixel because the smaller one is the perfect size but Google Assistant is no longer exclusive and the glass back cracks easily.

I'm very content with my LG G5 which I got for several hundred dollars cheaper and with removable battery, microSD slot, FM radio, and IR blaster that the Pixel lacks. Got a spare battery to boot.

Just not into many smartphones right now. Even the hype for the S8, Note8, and iPhone X (or Edition) will lose its luster quickly after their announcement. Bezel-less, curved, and glass rears is just bad ergonomics. Higher prices don't help either.

For $700+, might as well get a Nintendo Switch with games and accessories. Nintendo might be kiddie but they bring fun the same way Disney can while the mobile industry has become stagnant and is one big fashion show.

"Switch" to something different than getting hyped up by another gimmicky, overpriced, overrated smartphone flagship with omitted old school features and a new design that will get boring fast. Michael Fisher had a nice review of the Switch and he isn't even a gamer!

"received plenty of positive reviews", unfortunatly it is impossible to trust any reviews today, especially from "professional"/paid reviewers!

I had the same issue with mic not working at all in my pixel XL, within 3 months , however when I contacted customer service they denied to replace the phone instead rectified it,company should consider to replace the faulty phones during the said period rather than rectifying it

Huawei Nexus 6P was better than the this Google Pixel.

Hope Google go back to Huawei or some other company that can actually make a decent smartphone...

I doubt it's a serious issue, otherwise it wouldn't have taken so long to discover it. Or if it's serious, it could be confined to a specific batch of products.
